Jurassic World: First Trailer released online

Two days ahead of the scheduled release for Thanksgiving, Universal Pictures has released the very first trailer to the Colin Trevorrow directed new installment in the "Jurassic Park" franchise with "Jurassic World"... And it's a doozy to look at!

Starring Chris "Star-Lord" Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the film takes place 22 years after Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park", and sees the island Isla Nubar now home to a fully functional dinosaur theme park. When interest on the attractions decline, a new kind of hybrid is developed to spark interest anew. Unfortunately, it backfires and becomes a deadly force that cannot be controlled.

Also, if you guys are fans of Spielberg's works, there's more than a throwback to the dinosaurs alone. ;)

Jurassic Park 4 gets retitled as "Jurassic World" and set for a June 2015 release

After months since the last update and confirmation came to place, looks like Steven Spielberg's return to the world of Dinosaurs is back on track for 2015... And literally, it'll be a bigger emphasis on the word "world".

Announced by Universal Pictures, the new sequel to the Jurassic Park film franchise that was once titled "Jurassic Park 4" will now be called "Jurassic World", and will see Spielberg return on a producing capacity. Helming the new film will be director Colin Trevorrow, whose past films include the 2002 Home Base and 2012's Safety Not Guaranteed. Trevorrow also wrote the draft for the screenplay alongside Derek Connolly, though no details have surfaced yet on the plot for the film.

It's safe to assume that with the title "Jurassic World", the dinosaurs won't be limited to a park or an island... And may just explode into the global scene with catastrophic results ala The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Time will tell for sure how it goes, and with the rerelease of Jurassic Park in 3D giving us a taste of the conversion, the new film will be entirely shot in this format. Following word that his next project "Robopocalypse" will be delayed, news has arrived that Steven Spielberg will next tackle something familiar... A franchise that he started and directed the first film of 20 years ago... a sequel to Jurassic Park! Confirmed by Universal Pictures and slated for release on 3D and 2D next year, Jurassic Park IV is a go... And the dinosaurs will return to the big screen!
