Jurassic World: First Trailer released online

Two days ahead of the scheduled release for Thanksgiving, Universal Pictures has released the very first trailer to the Colin Trevorrow directed new installment in the "Jurassic Park" franchise with "Jurassic World"... And it's a doozy to look at!

Jurassic World - Official Trailer (HD)

Starring Chris "Star-Lord" Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the film takes place 22 years after Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park", and sees the island Isla Nubar now home to a fully functional dinosaur theme park. When interest on the attractions decline, a new kind of hybrid is developed to spark interest anew. Unfortunately, it backfires and becomes a deadly force that cannot be controlled.

Also, if you guys are fans of Spielberg's works, there's more than a throwback to the dinosaurs alone. ;)

Jurassic World opens on June 12, 2015.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Opens Big on Thursday Night and WHY YOU MUST SEE IT ( Aka a Short Review)

It's pretty much THE MOVIE everyone is talking about, and with good reason to boot.

Opening August 2014 in a big way and certainly ready to make the numbers ROCKET (pun intended) in ways that fans and film buffs would certainly be pleased about, Marvel Studios latest and arguably most ambitious movie for their Marvel Cinematic Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy, has cashed in big in the US on Thursday preview night according to a report from Variety, earning as much as $11.2 Million from the screenings! That's saying a lot for the James Gunn film, which stars a bunch of misfits and convicts who are literally the universe's last hope for survival when a dark threat arrives and starts down the path that could lead to the destruction of everything as we know it.

Starring Chris Pratt as Star-Lord/ Peter Quill, with Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave "Batista" Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, and the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as Rocket Raccoon and Groot, this is one unorthodox cast that makes the movie WORK and FUN.

See this extended look trailer/ clip released last week to get a taste if you're unaware.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - "EXTENDED" 5 MIN. Clip

If you need more convincing of this 80's/ Sci-Fi/ Comic Book infused Awesome Mix of a film, I've seen it myself, and I can honestly say that I have not been this impressed with a Marvel film since the first Iron Man film and The Avengers that's not a direct sequel of anything. This movie sets the bar to explore other Marvel properties that go beyond our realm or the familiar faces we know, and it's just simply a love letter to those who loved everything about 1980's pop-culture and space films such as Star Wars or what not. A DEFINITE MUST SEE.

Guardians of the Galaxy is now playing in theaters worldwide!

Marvel Movies: Guardians Of The Galaxy plot details online

As one of the big superhero movies aimed to hit next year for "Phase 2" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Guardians Of The Galaxy sounds just as ambitious as its title proclaims it to be, but could very well be one of the big and unexpected epic blockbuster films to look forward to in 2014!

Starring the likes of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave "Batista" Bautista as Drax The Destroyer, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and Michael Rooker as Yondu, this futuristic ragtag team of interstellar adventurers and ex-cons have a big mission in their hands... And it all ties in to the bigger picture that Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures was to plant for their cinematic universe.

It's still a long ways to go before the movie actually sees a trailer or footage, but casting notes and details on the plot have leaked online, and source post Bleeding Cool has SPOILER information that may strike the fancy of comic book fans curious enough to take a peak. How does it tie to other interstellar groups and Earth for that matter? Read at your own risk and find out.

Guardians Of The Galaxy, directed by James Gunn, is aimed for release on August 1, 2014.
