Pacific Rim: Uprising: Japanese poster spotlights Gipsy Avenger
Set to be released in a few months time and picking up where Guillermo del Toro's stellar 2013 giant robot vs giant monster blockbuster film, Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures have released in Japan a new poster promoting "Pacific Rim: Uprising" - which features the new Jaeger called "Gipsy Avenger" and a new hero in the rebellious son of Stacker Pentecost, Jake (John Boyega of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi). Marvel officially casts Charlie Cox under Steven S. DeKnight's "Daredevil"
It's official - there's a new "Man Without Fear" coming to town, and he's an actor best known for his performances in the TV Show "Boardwalk Empire" and the film "Stardust".
Officially cast as Matt Murdock for the upcoming 13-Episode run set to premiere in 2015, British actor Charlie Cox is the first man to be cast in the brand new "Daredevil" TV Series appearing in Netflix. The show will be handled by new showrunner Stephen S. DeKnight, whose credentials include Sparticus and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Original showrunner and The Cabin in the Woods director Drew Goddard was previously attached to the project, but departed just last week around the same time the news of director Edgar Wright leaving Ant-Man as well.
