Arrow and The Flash: Crossover episode details and TV Guide cover revealed
It's the crossover everyone been waiting for... And it's coming up this December just before both superhero shows take a break for the holidays to boot!
Exploding in The CW starting with the seventh episode of "The Flash" titled "Flash Vs. Arrow", Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen/ Arrow will come face to face with Grant Gustin's Barry Allen/ The Flash, in a showdown that sees Ollie and his team come to Central City to work together with the Scarlet Speedster's friends in stopping Ray Bivolo, aka the Rainbow Raider. The episode will air on December 2 on The CW.
Then, Flash will come straight to Starling City to assist Arrow in stopping Digger Harkness, aka Captain Boomerang, in the eighth episode of Arrow Season 3 titled "The Brave and the Bold". Both friends will work together to stop the boomerang wielding villain from causing chaos, eliminating A.R.G.U.S. agents, and planting bombs in the hooded archer's city. The episode will air on December 3 on The CW.
And fresh off the Facebook pages of The Flash and Arrow, here's TV Guide's new cover promoting the team-up!
The Flash shows every Tuesday on The CW, while Arrow airs a day after on Wednesdays on the same network!

1960's Batman series will get a Mattel toyline
If the date 12/21/12 held any other significance other than "The End Is Nigh", then is is certainly GOOD NEWS for fans of the classic 1966 Batman show!
Via a report from Superherohype and this month's issue of License! Global magazine, Mattel confirms that the classic 1960's Batman series will be getting the toyline treatment, meaning that star and legendary actor Adam West will FINALLY be getting an action figure! This comes on the eve of reports of 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. negotiated a deal to finally release the long desired superhero TV show in home media, so it's certainly a good way to tie-in and reintroduce fans to a legendary franchise with a new toyline!
