The countdown is about to end, and the new age of DC Universe will be born! Love or hate it, history will be made in comics this day! The New 52 ushers in the DCnU! Go to your local comic book shop and start things off by picking up a copy of Justice League #1 (shown above) to commemorate the occasion!
After the previous update showcased the picture of what appears to be the "Batwing" being filmed for a scene in The Dark Knight Rises, Batman-News has updated with a post showcasing a video of the same story, with the hovercraft-like vehicle entering the Wabash Tunnel in Pittsburgh. With a week left to go before it smashes into consoles around the world, Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds isn't holding back any punches when it comes to delivering some sweet looking gameplay and character trailers for fans to salivate over. With just about the entire roster already revealed for Capcom's next crossover brawler, who's next to get his own character montage video? Why the boss himself of course, who is none other than the devourer of worlds himself, Galactus!
As shown and featured over at IGN, Capcom and Marvel have provided new images and details surrounding Galactus, who happens to be the final opponent players will face at the end of MvC3. His revelation as the last boss was leaked about a week ago in the web, but now we get some official info on this guy, and It won't be a walk in the part fighting this cosmic giant to finish the game. Before facing the mighty one himself, you'll have to deal with two heralds, who'll be powered up versions of the bad guys you'll be facing in game like Dr. Doom and Dormammu, only both fighting at the same time! Once you get rid of them, the devourer of worlds attacks, and the fate of the world rests on your shoulders now! Check out the character video to see what I mean!
If there was one thing constant about Iron Man, it's that he always has new armor to wear, and the movie universe is no exception for that matter. Since escaping captivity from a cave with the aid and support of his Mark I armor, Tony Stark has upgraded the design and tweaked it to perfection, beginning things by adding HUD and flight capabilities in the Mark II, and eliminating minor glitches and icing problems with the Mark III. By the time Iron Man 2 takes place, Stark has perfected most of the kinks by developing a more refined suit in the Mark IV armor, and tests the waters of portability and efficiency with the Mark V. His latest piece of tech wear, the Mark VI, harnesses all the advancements at his disposal, including a newly stabilized arc reactor chest piece that gives Iron Man twice the energy he needs to fully establish himself as a dominant one man army.
With its US opening weekend at a cool $128.1M and the numbers looking really good elsewhere around the world, Iron Man 2 is, despite mixed reviews, a smashing success. Yes, the armored avenger looks pretty awesome in the big screen, but how did Jon Favreau and the filmmakers get these suits up and running for the sequel?
