Superman: CinemaCon Sneak Peek Footage Officially Released Online

After appearing first and shown exclusively for CinemaCon 2025 in the US, Warner Bros. and DC Studios have officially released the new Sneak Peek footage for "Superman" - which stars David Corenswet as the new Man of Steel and also co-stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.

The new footage shown is an extended look at what we saw at the beginning of the first teaser trailer for the upcoming superhero film - showing an injured Superman taken to his Fortress of Solitude by a helpful and energetic Krypto the Superdog. Here’s your first look at DC Universe Batman at “Creature Commandos”

It’s just a silhouette and a small cameo by all means, but Creature Commandos - DC Studios’ first animated feature set in the new DC Universe - just showcased the Batman himself! It’s not exactly the final look the Dark Knight will sport in the DC Universe, but James Gunn has acknowledged he exists - and it’s not the Robert Pattinson version from Matt Reeves’ The Batman Saga either.

Jason Momoa Confirms He'll Play Lobo in James Gunn and DC Studios' DC Universe

It doesn't take rocket science to know who's perfect to play the MAIN MAN of the DC Universe, and that's exactly what former Aquaman actor Jason Momoa's going to be as he steps into James Gunn and DC Studios' DC Universe as Lobo!

That's right, the popular American actor hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii who first got his acting chops in Baywatch: Hawaii before starring as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, Arthur Curry/ Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe of films, and Duncan Idaho in Dune is now primed to play the popular bounty hunter who travels the cosmos with his space hog searching for targets and worthy adversaries. He'll be making his debut as the character in "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" - which is scheduled to be released on June 2026!

Jason initially auditioned for Lobo and said he'd love to play the character as he's a comic book fan himself. Now he gets his wish! See ya as the Main Man soon!

The Flash Movie Promo Art Features Supergirl, Michael Keaton Batman, and Two Flashes

2023 has a full slate of blockbuster movies coming up - and one of them is expected to help “reboot” the very troubled DC Films slate of movies and presumably end the DC Extended Universe as we know it. That movie of course is “The Flash” - which will feature controversial star Ezra Miller in the titular role as well as Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck returning as their respective versions of Batman.

Now a new promo image has been released featuring Supergirl, Batman, and two Flashes - which is making the rounds online and hopefully helps build up momentum for the movie. The first trailer is expected to debut during this year’s Super Bowl this February, and that’s a long time coming for a film that’s supposed to debut in the middle of this year.

The Flash hits theaters this June.

NYCC 2022: DC Comics Prepares For “Dawn of the DCU” After Dark Crisis of Infinite Earths

The night is darkest just before the dawn, and the future of the DC Universe will change once again after the events of “Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths” as DC has officially laid plans for their next chapter in “Dawn of the DCU” - which will see the Justice League return, younger heroes rise and older ones return to prominence, and of course things that will never be the same again after the end of the latest crisis event.

As laid out by Newsarama and during DC’s panel presentation in New York Comic Con, the changes will begin as soon as Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #7 hits this January - with several changes being hinted at the variant covers for the final issue of the crossover.

Nightwing features prominently in the main cover with the rest of the multiverse in the background, so that could clue in what’s going to happen in the Joshua Williamson and Daniel Sampere finale.
