Marvel What If...? Season 3 is Now Streaming on Disney +!

 

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everybody! Just in case you've been busy for the holiday season and forgot about it, the third season of Marvel Animation's "What If...?" series is finally on Disney+ - and by this post it's already Episode 3 and a new entry will be released every day until just before 2024 ends! SDCC '22: Marvel Studios Animation Panel News: I Am Groot, Spider-Man, What If?, Marvel Zombies, and X-Men '97

 

San Diego Comic-Con is indeed the mecca of all things in the world of hobbies and popculture, so it comes as no surprise we've been bombarded with a ton of news online from the folks at Marvel Studios - who held their Marvel Studios Animation panel today and talked about the upcoming animated shows hitting in the next two years - namely I Am Groot, Spider-Man: Freshman Year, What If...? Season 2, Marvel Zombies, and X-Men '97!

Thanks to Comic Book Movie, a live blogging recap of the entire panel was handled on site, with previews and information of these upcoming shows shares with those in attendance as well as the world.

The first trailer and poster for the 5 episode "I Am Groot" series has landed online, with the series hitting Disney + on August 10. Additional episodes are being produced as well.

Spider-Man: Freshman Year will debut on 2024. Still and first looks were shown. It will feature a ton of supporting characters like Nico Minuro of the Runaways, Harry Osborn, and Amadeus Cho, as well as villains like Rhino, Scorpion, and Doc Ock. The series takes place before Captain America: Civil War, and a "Spider-Man: Sophomore Year" is already in development.

Spider-Man: Freshman Year will include Nico Minuro of the Runaways, Lonnie Lincoln, Amadeus Cho, Harry Osborn, and more.

Oh, and Charlie Cox will also be in the series and lending his voice to reprise his role as Daredevil. Doctor Strange will be appearing in the series as well.

Marvel's What If...? Season 2 will be released on early 2023. A third season is already in development, and yes the Marvel Zombies are also getting their own series as well.

And finally, X-Men '97 comes to Disney + on Fall 2023! Picking right where the original series leftt off, Magneto will lead the team on behalf of his friend Charles Xavier, and familiar allies will appear such as Bishop, Cable,  Morph, and Forge, and enemies such as Mr. Sinister, The Hellfire Club, and more. Marvel's "What If?" releases character posters for Captain Carter and The Hydra Stomper and "Steve" Clip!

 

We're just a few days away from the release of the next chapter of "Phase 4" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Marvel Studios is preparing us for the first episode of "What If?" this week with the release of a couple of character posters for Episode 1 focusing on Captain Carter and The Hydra Stomper - alternate universe versions of Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers in which the script is flipped and the female SSR agent becomes the recipient of the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve!

With these character posters we see Peggy and Steve inside The Hydra Stomper armor in the spotlight!

What If? starts streaming on Disney + on August 11!

Hasbro Pulse reveals What If? Marvel Legends Uatu Wave, Hydra Stomper Deluxe Figure, and More!

 

Prepare those wallets if you happen to be a Marvel Legends collector, as Hasbro Pulse dropped the Bombshell Announcement of their next wave of Marvel Legends figures - namely based on the upcoming “What If?” animated series set in the MCU by Marvel Studios and airing on Disney + next month!

The wave is made up of Loki’s variant Sylvie, and alternate takes on T’Challa as Star-Lord, Nebula, Spider-Man, Zombie Cap, Doctor Strange Supreme, and Captain Carter, with the Build-A-Figure being Uatu The Watcher!

The announcement for that series doesn’t end there though, as there’s a DELUXE HYDRA STOMPER figure coming too!

Promotions for the upcoming HasLabs Galactus were also discussed - and the figure is HUGE as expected!

Lin addition- a comic version of Binary, rerelease of MCU Vulture with wings, and a Tigra classic ML card action figures were also announced!

Plus - a Black colored Hand Ninja for army builders!
