ICYMI: The CW reveals the first photo of Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor in "Supergirl"
As the superhero shows of the Arrowverse settle back to their regular scheduled programming following the winter break, The CW has released the very first photo (via CBR) of actor Jon Cryer as "Lex Luthor" - sporting a beard and will be making his first appearance in Supergirl on the March 7th episode "O Brother, Where Art Thou?".
This isn't Cryer's first rodeo in a Superman related role, as the actor played the nephew of Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor in "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace". How things come full circle!

The Flash: "Dynamic Duet" poster for Flash/ Supergirl Musical Episode released
Debuting on The Flash and Supergirl Facebook pages, The CW has released the official poster promoting the upcoming "Flash/ Supergirl Musical Crossover Episode", where The Scarlet Speedster and Girl of Steel team up in a dream world to take on the Music Meister as the "Dynamic Duet"! Coincidentally this also means stars Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist do their "Glee" thing again, so it's a reunion of sorts for both stars in the musical scene.
Here's the promo for the episode in case you want to know where the beat goes.
The Flash's special episode entitled "Duet" premieres on The CW on March 21.

DC on the CW: New Supergirl and The Flash promo posters released
After returning to television sets last week and resuming their respective seasons, The CW has released a couple of new promo posters for Supergirl and The Flash - both of which feature the respective titular hero and one of their supporting heroes side by side!
For Supergirl, it's Martian Manhunter flying with her through what appears to be an asteroid belt, while The Flash and Kid Flash run together with the Speed Force at their side! For more info, visit the source post at Comic Book Movie's posts here and here!
Supergirl shows every Monday while The Flash runs every Tuesday, both on The CW!

Supergirl: Last Children of Krypton poster evokes Crisis on Infinite Earths #7
Set to air tonight and already looking as epic as the cover that inspired the one sheet itself, The CW has released a brand new promotional poster via their Facebook page for "Supergirl" that sees Melissa Benoist's Girl of Steel unconscious and being held by her own cousin Superman (played by Tyler Hoeclin) - who comes to her rescue after she is injured from a kryptonite powered villain.
The poster of course takes inspiration from the cover to "Crisis on Infinite Earths #7" - which sees Superman carrying and mourning the fallen body of Supergirl after she sacrifices her life to try and stop the Anti-Monitor. That storyline of course isn't happening in the TV Series, but to see The CW pay homage to that bit of comic history is a nice touch. In fact, the network has released a few clips for the upcoming episode like this one below
