Ghostbusters: Afterlife unleashes Trailer #2 and hypes up November US release

 

Get ready to see the revival of a legendary 80's franchise for a new generation, as director Jason Reitman - son of original Ghostbusters film director Ivan Reitman - brings us a new team of heroes dealing with supernatural forces in a sleepy rural town in Ghostbusters: Afterlife!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be released in theaters in the US this November!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife teaser poster released; Trailer coming Monday

Coming in Summer next year and directed by the son of the original director of the first two Ghostbusters films, Columbia Pictures and Vanity Fair have debuted the first teaser poster for :”Ghostbusters: Afterlife” - the true follow-up to the 1984 and 1989 films which will feature the return of the surviving cast of original actors, as starring McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd.

The film, directed by Ivan Reitman’s son Jason Reitman, will also see the return of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd,  Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife hits theaters next year on July. The first trailer for the film hits Monday.

New Ghostbusters sequel being developed by Jason Reitman; First teaser released

In what certainly surprised a LOT of fans of the original Ghostbusters film, director Jason Reitman has been reportedly working on a "secret" Ghostbusters sequel - following in the footsteps of his father director Ivan Reitman and essentially inheriting the "keys to the kingdom" of the Ghostbusters franchise.

Now, it appears there is an actual teaser trailer to that upcoming film - which is set in the same universe as the 1984 classic and its 1989 sequel that starred Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and the late Harold Ramis - has a teaser trailer to its name... And it shows a very familiar vehicle that many Ghostbusters fans will recognize.
