After waiting patiently for it to be released online, the first of four planned teasers for Avengers: Doomsday has officially been released by Marvel Studios - showing none other than Chris Evans returning as Steve Rogers/ Captain America and taking us back to the past where he has settled with Peggy Carter and having a baby.

As well as facing a gamma powered Red Hulk who is also US president Thunderbolt Ross.

Captain America: Brave New World flies into theaters this February!
Set to fly into theaters early next year as the first Marvel Studios film for 2025, a brand new poster and Special Look for “Captain America: Brave New World” has been released - showing more of Sam Wilson’s journey as the brand new Star Spangled Avenger wielding the shield as he takes on a conspiracy that could very well shake the world, as well as a gamma powered President Thunderbolt Ross as the “Red Hulk”.

During Marvel Studios’ presentation at D23 Brasil, a couple of new looks were shown for next year’s slate of MCU films - specifically “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Marvel’s Thunderbolts*” - which the former got a new poster and trailer, and the latter a new “Special Look” that is essentially a new trailer as well.
The new poster and trailer for Captain America: Brace New World - which sees Sam Wilson/ Captain America taking on a new conspiracy running inside the government and a gamma powered President Thunderbolt Ross, aka Red Hulk.
Then we also get a new look at Marvel’s Thunderbolts* - showing more action and comedic antics between the team consisting of the likes of Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, John Walker, and so on.

It’s the 4th of July in the United States, and that means the USA is celebrating its Independence Day with posts and commemorations! Among those honoring their national holiday is Hollywood star and new Captain America actor Anthony Mackie - who shared a new image of his return as Sam Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for “Captain America: Brave New World” - which he posted on his Instagram and shows off the new Cap suit Sam will be wearing while wielding the shield for a new adventure.

Originally set for release this year but pushed back to early 2025 to make way for additional reshoots and adjustments, Marvel Studios’ next Captain America film that sees Sam Wilson headlining has a new first look image courtesy of Empire Magazine as a new image for “Captain America: Brave New World” shows Anthony Mackie sporting a new Captain America universe that’s more blue and combines aspects of his Falcon costume as well in addition to wielding the shield passed to him by Steve Rogers.
The new film is set to be released on February next year, anf will also star Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross - replacing the late William Hurt and now the new President of the United States for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Read more info via Empire Magazine’s article here.
One of Marvel Studios first shows on Disney + as part of “Phase Four” is finally available on Home Video - as “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” has been released on Blu-Ray! This spin-off series to the Captain America films follows the adventures of Sam Wilson/ Falcon and Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier as they navigate in a post-Blip world where Steve Rogers has retired from the role of Captain America and Sam was given the shield to succeed him. However he instead donates it to the Smithsonian Exhibit, and as the world experiences a new attack led by activists - the shield is passed to an unlikely successor.
In a new deleted scene released by IGN that comes together with the special features of the home release - Sam Wilson catches up with James “Rhodey” Rhodes aka War Machine, and this meeting hints to what is later revealed to be Skrull posing as Rhodey in the “Phase Five” miniseries “Secret Invasion”.
For the first time since starring in the role of Sam Wilson 10 years ago in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson is headlining his own Marvel Cinematic Universe movie as the new Captain America as he faces a new conspiracy unravelling in “Captain America: Brave New World” - which is set to be released in theaters by Marvel Studios on February next year.
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we get our first look at the film with two new screenshots featuring Mackie as Sam Wilson/ Cap and Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross - a role he takes over from the late William Hurt and who has now become President of the United States in the MCU. While the first footage screened was exclusively shown to those in attendance at CinemaCon, media outlets like EW have described it and you can read about it here.
Captain America fans and Marvel Legends collectors can look forward to a version of the character getting the ML treatment by Hasbro - as the Secret Empire era Cap aka “Hydra Cap” now has a 6” figure being previewed in the In Demand Toys 20th Anniversary Celebration!
As reported by ItsDanWho and MarvelousNews, this Hydra Cap will be a Walmart exclusive - and comes with the new costume and shield he wore first in the “Steve Rogers: Captain America” series that ran during Secret Empire.
A familiar face will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe more than 15 years after her last appearance in a full-lemgth Marvel Studios film, as Liv Tyler will return as Betty Ross for the fourth Captain America film that will be headlined by Sam Wilson’s Star-Spangled Avenger in “Captain America: New World Order”!
First seen in 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk” and playing the love interest of Edward Norton’s Bruce Banner/ Hulk, this will be Tyler’s second appearance in an MCU film as well as the character of Betty Ross - who was last seen in a “What If?” episode but voiced by Resident Evil 2 voice actress Stephanie Panisello. She joins Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson/ Captain America as well as a cast that includes her Incredible Hulk co-star Tim Blake Nelson, and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier actors Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly - who reprise their roles as Joaquin Torres and Isaiah Bradley. Directed by Julius Onah, Captain America: New World Order will be part of Phase 5 of the MCU and will be release on late April/ early May of next year.
Hasbro Pulse and Team Marvel Legends are bringing in the goods this 2023, and have just teased their upcoming slate of new figure offerings this 2023 that will no doubt get a lot of comic book fans happy. After showing off their line of toys that have already been solicited and put on pre-order like the upcoming X-Men themed figures and the MCU Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and GOTG Vol. 3 waves, here comes new reveals for the comic book themed Spider-Man and Avengers figures - with the latter celebrating 60 years of Earth's Mightiest Heroes under the "Avengers: Beyond Earth's Mightiest" banner!
To start things off, here's a look at the new wave of Spider-Man themed figures - which includes both versions of Ben Reilly's new look as Spider-Man (Beyond) and Chasm, Miles Morales new Spider-Man suit, Richard Fisk aka The Rose, Jessica Drew Spider-Woman's short lived new modern suit, Elekrta in her Daredevil outfit, and Tarantula!
Then we come to the VHS style "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures, with a look at the already revealed Carnage and Black Suit/ Symbiote Suit Spider-Man figures and then the new Aunt May and Doctor Octopus two-pack - with bendable tentacles for the latter!
Finally, here's the first look at the "Avengers: Beyond Earth's Mightiest" wave of figures that commemorate 60 years of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in comics!
The line-up consists of a new Mark I Iron Man, Bruce Banner and Grey Hulk, a Walt Simonson era bearded Thor with the Destroyer, a new classic Hawkeye rinding an Avengers skycycle, a 1980's Secret Wars Doctor Doom and Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel, 1990's era Avengers bomber jacket wearing Sersi and Black Knight, a new super-articulated Black Widow, a NEW Bucky Captain America using the Vulcan body (so meta!), Skrull Queen Veranke and a Super Skrull with Avengers powers from Secret Invasion, and finally the Super Adaptoid!

The celebration of all things under the House of Mouse is happening this weekend on this year’s D23 Expo, and in the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase digital event - Skydance Media and Marvel Games have unveiled a new and as of yet untitled Black Panther and Captain America game!

Other than the fact it's being developed by former Uncharted creative director and writer Amy Hennig, not much is known about the plot and details about this game. We'll just have to wait and see what other details come along soon in the future.
