Arrow: First shot of Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger appears online

Fans anxiously awaiting the return of Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen in the hit superhero TV Series "Arrow" have less than a month to wait before the action star returns as "The Hood", and there are already plenty of revealing details popping up of who else in the DC Comics superhero community will be making an appearance in the show!

Just a few days ago, it was revealed that Grant Gustin was cast as Barry Allen/ The Flash, and now we get the first pic of another DC Character played by a known actor that fans will be pleased to hear and see appearing in the show - Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger!

Looking at this shot alone, it looks like things are going to get really intense between Arrow and Tiger, and Michael Jai White isn't a pushover either when it comes to fights either! An expert Martial Artist in his own right and having played the movie version of Spawn, Mortal Kombat character Jax in "Mortal Kombat Legacy", and making an appearance in "The Dark Knight" as Gamble, it's great to see Mike playing a well-known anti-hero hero in the DC Universe, and his appearance in the show based off the character Green Arrow will add some excitement to those looking forward to the series' return. In fact, producer Marc Guggenheim says to fans of Bronze Tiger that they'll be happy with his "Arrow-fication", so that show be reassuring enough as it is. Arrow returns to The CW starting on October 9th!

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Debuts!

Mortal Kombat is slowly crawling back into it's former state of badass glory, and not just because of the new game coming out for consoles this month. No, I'm talking about a new live action series that recently made it's premiere online in Machinima.Com and You Tube! Born out of last year's highly successful "teaser trailer" type short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth comes "Mortal Kombat: Legacy", a new web series based on the bloody fighting game franchise which will explore the origins and stories of popular characters in the MK universe! Returning to reprise their roles from "Rebirth" are Michael Jai White (Spawn) and Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: DS9's Seven of Nine) as Jackson Briggs and Sonya Blade respectively, and the production values for the first webisode alone show that this new series means business! Check out the debut trailer... and the first episode of the new series after that!

New Mortal Kombat Series Is A GO!

Remember that short Mortal Kombat trailer/ film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, featuring Michael Jai White as Jax and Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion? If you don't, here it is again to give you a reminder of how cool that one was:

Liked it? Well, this trailer certainly made an impression on fans of the video game series, and while it hasn't been given the ok to be made into a feature movie of its own, it has officially been given the green light to be made into a series! As reported in a post via Kotaku, the trailer conceptualized by director Kevin Tancharoen will blossom into a 10 webisode series courtesy of Warner Bros, with no word on a release date so far. However, it has been confirmed that Mr. White will reprise his role as Jax. How that will turn out remains to be seen. For more info, visit the source post at Kotaku!

Is This A New Mortal Kombat!?

Do my eyes deceive me?! Are we actually looking at what could be the coolest return of the bloodiest fighting game series ever made?! This trailer is already looking sweet... and it has the legendary martial arts actor Michael Jai White in it as Jax!

Is this a promotional trailer for a new Mortal Kombat game? Is it for E3? Or is it for that Warner Bros. reboot we've heard news about? Whatever this is, it's looking cool, so stay tuned for updates, and read more about this in Kotaku!
