Mortal Kombat: Legacy Debuts!

Mortal Kombat is slowly crawling back into it's former state of badass glory, and not just because of the new game coming out for consoles this month. No, I'm talking about a new live action series that recently made it's premiere online in Machinima.Com and You Tube! Born out of last year's highly successful "teaser trailer" type short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth comes "Mortal Kombat: Legacy", a new web series based on the bloody fighting game franchise which will explore the origins and stories of popular characters in the MK universe! Returning to reprise their roles from "Rebirth" are Michael Jai White (Spawn) and Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: DS9's Seven of Nine) as Jackson Briggs and Sonya Blade respectively, and the production values for the first webisode alone show that this new series means business! Check out the debut trailer... and the first episode of the new series after that!
