Thor: Ragnarok: Chris Hemsworth posts Mjolnir memorial video

If you've seen Thor: Ragnarok (and you should - I enjoyed it a lot!), it's a given by now that the God of Thunder and his world has changed for the forseeable future. It's not a spoiler given the numerous trailers of the film that the Son of Odin's mighty hammer Mjolnir was destroyed by Hela, the Goddess of Death. That left our favorite Asgardian hero to rediscover himself and take on a new adventure sans Hammer.

To honor his fallen comrade of sorts, actor Chris Hemsworth has posted on his official Instagram a "Memorial Video" for Mjolnir, which should be viewed by fans.

Hitting theaters this fall and showing a very different side to the Asgardian Thunder God we all know and love from Marvel, Marvel Studios and Disney have released the very first teaser trailer and poster for "Thor: Ragnarok", which will see Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston reprising their roles as Thor and Loki respectively. When the ruler of Hel and Nifilheim Hela (Cate Blanchett) takes away the Odinson's hammer Mjolnir, Thor is sent off to another planet to do gladiatorial battle with his Avengers teammate The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). In a mission to return home and find his missing father Odin as well, the God of Thunder must find new strength and ways to win the day in order to prevent Ragnarok from occurring in Asgard.

From the 70's/ 80's vibes ala "Flash Gordon" to the Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song", this trailer screams HAVE AT THEE~!

Thor: Ragnarok: Entertainment Weekly cover reveals Hela, Valkyrie, and short haired Thor

Revealed out of the blue on their official Facebook page, Entertainment Weekly has revealed the cover to their upcoming March 17-24 issue of this year, which spotlights Marvel Studios' next Thor sequel in "Thor: Ragnarok" and features Chris Hemsworth back as the God of Thunder but sporting a brand new haircut that's shorter and fits his new "Gladiator" style outfit that sees the Odinson holding two blades in place of his missing hammer Mjolnir. Also joining him are Cate Blanchett and Tessa Thompson, who play Hela and Valkyrie respectively.

No trailer has been released yet online for Thor: Ragnarok by Marvel and Disney, but that could change anytime soon and could be before or during Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 this May. The film will be released on November 3, 2017 in the US.
