One of the most awaited returns since being announced as cast members for the newest Avengers ensemble film are without the doubt the original castmembers of Fox’s X-Men universe - and Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and James Marsden have just shown up to promote the return of Marvel’s Merry Mutants in “Avengers: Doomsday” - with the third teaser trailer showing off Professor X, Magneto, and Cyclops dressed in a 90’s Jim Lee era inspired costume unleashing his optic blast!

A week after the release of the Steve Rogers/ Captain America teaser featuring the return of Chris Evans in the role, Marvel has officially released the second of four planned teasers trailers for “Avengers: Doomsday” - which shows Chris Hemsworth back as Thor Odinson!
Now sporting short hair again like in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War and wielding Stormbreaker, the God of Thunder prays to Odin for strength and guidance as he prepares for a new battle in the name of protecting his adopted daughter Love. Check out the teaser below!

Avengers: Doomsday will be released on December 2026.
Making the rounds on social media channels, a new image from the set of Avengers: Doomsday that’s reportedly crew merchandise shows off the character roster that’ll be in the film - including of course Captain America Sam Wilson, Doctor Doom, The Fantastic Four, The New Avengers (formerly Thunderbolts), and the X-Men with their comic book inspired outfits!
It’s not really a clear image to begin with, but hopefully this is a sign that we’ll be getting more official looks very soon from Marvel Studios as filming continues!
It goes without saying that you SHOULD have watched Thunderbolts* already (here’s my review) to keep this as a surprise, but the cat’s officially out of the bag courtesy of Marvel themselves - and the marketing campaign for the film has pivoted to reveal that the official name of the team consisting of Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, U.S. Agent, and more are… The New Avengers!
Yes, just like the video reveal shows - The New Avengers are here and ready for Avengers: Doomsday next year!
For many of us, it took 5 HOURS to comb through chairs and name reveals of the cast who will be featured in the next Avengers film, but all of you catching up to the party are spared as Marvel Studios has released a SHORT VERSION of the cast line-up reveal for “Avengers: Doomsday” - which is now in production and will feature a ton of Avengers, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and OG X-Men in the cast!
At the end of the video, Robert Downey Jr. makes an appearance … And it all leads to Doom!
Avengers: Doomsday will be directed by The Russo Brothers and will be released next year!
Fans who have been waiting to see an idea of what Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would look like may now actually have their wishes granted, as concept art for what looks to be for Avengers Doomsday, Fantastic Four, and other Marvel Studios projects have been found online - on this webpage and containing stuff that looks absolutely awesome and inspired by the works from the comics!
Naturally as concept art these aren’t final or set in stone, but at least we have a glimpse at RDJ’s Doom ala Secret Wars, the FF, Young Avengers, Jocasta, Star-Lord, Hulk, Black Panther, and more!
Known for his performances in movies such as S.W.A.T, The Hurt Locker, The Town, the Mission: Impossible films, and of course as Clint Barton/ Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one of Hollywood’s most recognizable stars celebrates his birthday as the holiday season officially ends!
Happy 53rd Birthday to Jeremy Renner - who recently returned to work for his TV series Mayor of Kingstown after recovering from a snow mobile accident that severely injured him yet he made the recovery process and is now back to do what he does best - acting!
If you're a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the films Marvel Studios has created, then today's date is significant as it marks one of the most important events in cinema history.
On this date in the fictional MCU timeline (October 17, 2023), the "Battle of Earth" takes place and the victims of Thanos' Snap/ The Blip are restored to life thanks to the Avengers - culminating in an epic battle against the time-displaced Thanos and his armies that sees the villain defeated and Iron Man sacrificing his life to make that victory a reality.
To think this film eerily mirrors what we went through with the pandemic the past couple of years and coming back from it after isolation for a few years. Celebrate by rewatching "Avengers: Endgame".
Hasbro Pulse and Team Marvel Legends are bringing in the goods this 2023, and have just teased their upcoming slate of new figure offerings this 2023 that will no doubt get a lot of comic book fans happy. After showing off their line of toys that have already been solicited and put on pre-order like the upcoming X-Men themed figures and the MCU Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and GOTG Vol. 3 waves, here comes new reveals for the comic book themed Spider-Man and Avengers figures - with the latter celebrating 60 years of Earth's Mightiest Heroes under the "Avengers: Beyond Earth's Mightiest" banner!
To start things off, here's a look at the new wave of Spider-Man themed figures - which includes both versions of Ben Reilly's new look as Spider-Man (Beyond) and Chasm, Miles Morales new Spider-Man suit, Richard Fisk aka The Rose, Jessica Drew Spider-Woman's short lived new modern suit, Elekrta in her Daredevil outfit, and Tarantula!
Then we come to the VHS style "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures, with a look at the already revealed Carnage and Black Suit/ Symbiote Suit Spider-Man figures and then the new Aunt May and Doctor Octopus two-pack - with bendable tentacles for the latter!
Finally, here's the first look at the "Avengers: Beyond Earth's Mightiest" wave of figures that commemorate 60 years of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in comics!
The line-up consists of a new Mark I Iron Man, Bruce Banner and Grey Hulk, a Walt Simonson era bearded Thor with the Destroyer, a new classic Hawkeye rinding an Avengers skycycle, a 1980's Secret Wars Doctor Doom and Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel, 1990's era Avengers bomber jacket wearing Sersi and Black Knight, a new super-articulated Black Widow, a NEW Bucky Captain America using the Vulcan body (so meta!), Skrull Queen Veranke and a Super Skrull with Avengers powers from Secret Invasion, and finally the Super Adaptoid!
The pre-orders and full reveals for these will come soon on Hasbro Pulse's social media accounts. For those that missed the beginning of the stream, a showcase of the already revealed line-ups coming soon!
You can watch the replay of Hasbro Pulse's stream below!
This year, Marvel Comics will introduce a new creative team handling the adventures of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes - as writer Jed MacKay and artist C.F. Villa tackle a new roster and line-up for “The Avengers” with a relaunch of a brand new ongoing series!
Led by Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel herself, the new line-up consists of Sam Wilson Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, Vision, and The Scarlet Witch! As detailed by Comic Book Movie, the new series will arrive this May and will be released just in time for the 60th anniversary celebration of the team’s creation!
In what seemed like only yesterday but actually was released four years ago this day - Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, and The Russo Brothers unleashed the very first trailer and title reveal to the then unnamed fourth Avengers film - which was revealed to be “Avengers: Endgame” at the end of a teaser that was built upon the fallout of “Avengers: Infinity War” in which Thanos succeeded in eliminating half of life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In many ways it’s ironic that we look back at this moment in movie history and relate it to what has happened thus far - the world is continuing to cope and rise back up following a pandemic that, similar to The Snap, has changed life as we know it and is eerily similar to what the characters in the film had to do after that and post-Blip.
Following all of the Marvel Studios updates the previous day, more stuff is on the horizon for Disney’s theme park attractions! Fans of the Marvel Universe who are looking to see some new sights coming to Avengers Campus over at Disney California Adventure will get just that pretty soon, as Disney just revealed during their D23 Expo presentation that a new attraction will allow participants to battle alongside other Marvel heroes against “King Thanos” - an alternate version of the Mad Titan and one inspired the character of the same name in the pages of Marvel Comics!
So far only official concept art has been released for this upcoming attraction, so be sure to read more about it via Marvel.com here and stay tuned for updates from them!
