Logan: James Mangold shares some more never before seen photos and concepts from the film

Undeniably one of the best superhero films ever made and something very worthy of the Academy Awards, director James Mangold's "Logan" was a certified hit and up there among the best movies released in 2017. It was the swan song and perfect ending for Hugh Jackman's tenure as the titular character in Fox's "X-Men Movies" saga - with the former "Wolverine" living his twilight years caring for an ailing Charles Xavier and discovering he has a clone daughter in Laura/ X-23.

Recently, James Mangold held a watch party for "Logan", and shared some new "Never-Before-Seen" pictures and concept art from the film that delivers more insight and glimpses into what made this X-Men spin-off film resonate with the fanbase. You can check out more via Comic Book Movie.com

Logan director James Mangold is taking on the upcoming Boba Fett Star Wars spinoff film

Looks like the Star Wars universe under Disney will be expanding in bigger and bolder ways than we could hope for, as "The Wolverine" and "Logan" director James Mangold will be writing and directing the upcoming "Boba Fett" spin-off film - centering on the fan-favorite Mandalorian bounty hunter whose early days in the game have yet to be chronicled past his childhood and relationship with his template/ dad Jango Fett during the Star Wars prequel films.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mangold will be joined by fellow X-Men Movies alum and writer-producer Simon Kinberg, who will also co-write and produce the upcoming project. No details have been released yet on the film, but it's safe to say that we'll learn more things about it soon along with the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off film.

Logan: Deleted Scenes, Concept Art, and more talked about by Mr. Sunday Movies

Already making a killing in theaters and having so much rave reviews from fans and critics alike, Logan is literally the perfect swan song by Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold for the fan-favorite X-Men character. While it's still a long way off until the home video release comes to Blu-Ray and DVD, a lot of interviews and stuff talked about by the director and cast gives more insight on what was left on the cutting room floor and not included in the final product - which thankfully was compiled and discussed in a video by YouTube user Mr. Sunday Movies (As featured by Comic Book Movie).

Logan: Amazing concept art shared by artist Shae Shatz

A week in and still getting a lot of people praising and "Hurt", there's plenty to talk about in the aftermath of the release of "Logan" - Hugh Jackman's final film as Wolverine and quite the swan song of a picture directed by James Mangold that stayed true to the character and used the "R-Rating" to good effect. In many ways the Western themes, "Unforgiven" inspired influence, and "The Last of Us" vibe with Logan and Laura having a Joel and Elle relationship serve the film well, but there was a lot of concepts that played into what could have been done for the film, and concept artist Shae Shatz has shared to the world some of these amazing drawings, one of which shows Logan with a dog companion that's pretty reminiscent of the main character and Dogmeat from the Fallout games!

You can check out more of these brilliant artworks in Shae's Twitter and MovieWeb!

Logan: "Where are all the Mutants?" picture teased by Hugh Jackman

Keeping things mysterious and teased to a bare minimum with just about five months to go until the film's release, Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman has posted on Twitter and Facebook a new photo that teases his last film as the mutant hero "Logan" - which shows a restroom vandalized with the words "Where are all the Mutants" etched on a stall.

Set years after the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past, the man formerly known as "Wolverine" has all but abandoned his former life - choosing to not use his claws and keeping a solitary life away from any troubles. With the Blu-Ray and DVD set to hit home video fronts and retail stores next week, James Mangold recently had an interview with I Am Rogue promoting the extended version of the film on Blu-Ray, as well as teasing the fact that he's considering other classic "comic book" storylines for the announced sequel he and Hugh Jackman are reteaming to do courtesy of 20th Century Fox.

When asked if there were any specific storylines he'd draw up, Mangold only teased the following:

"Absolutely. I can tell you that in determining where we are going I’m not solely relying on my own imagination but also the imaginations that have spun great stories about Wolverine in the comics."

A deleted scene from the Blu-Ray release of The Wolverine has surfaced online, featuring something very familiar to fans hoping for some more comic elements to be implemented in the X-Men Movie universe!

As revealed by IGN and VK.com, the classic yellow costume that was shown in leaked production photos some months ago was actually incorporated into the film's finale, when Logan steps onboard a private jet chartered by his new love interest Mariko to send him back home. Inside, he still shares the same dialogue with Yukio... Only she gives him a briefcase with the costume in it! Check it out via the links above.

Drumming up the excitement with a few days left until it opens in 3D and conventional theaters, The Wolverine is set to unleash Hugh Jackman once more as the feral mutant, and explore a side of Logan rarely seen that tests his resolve as a warrior and his own immortality. I've been fortunate enough to see the film c/o 20th Century Fox PH, and it's absolutely something to that fans of the X-Men movie franchise should see all the way until the end (and a review to come up very soon).

With the film's nearing in cinemas worldwide, Coming Soon has posted up an exclusive one-on-one interview and feature with director James Mangold, who's proven quite capable on taking on what X-Men movie/s director Bryan Singer started and will continue with X-Men: Days of Future Past next year.
