"Black Widow" delayed until further notice due to Corona Virus

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Natasha Romanoff who were looking forward to the long awaited "Black Widow" solo film will have to be even more patient and understanding given the trying times in the world now, as Marvel Studios made the hard yet understandable decision to delay the film's release and pull it's late April/ Early May release date from theaters. This is due to the global pandemic that is the "Corona Virus" that is forcing countries into lockdown, community quarantines, and closing businesses and productions until further notice to try and stem more people from being infected by the virus.

Other Marvel projects like the upcoming TV Shows for Disney Plus in "Falcon and the Winter Soldier", "WandaVision", and "Loki" have suspended production as well, leading to an uncertain time when these programs will resume work and get a release window.

Hailee Steinfeld eyed as Kate Bishop for Marvel Studios' Hawkeye

Looks like Marvel Studios has set its sights on their Kate Bishop for the MCU, as Variety reports that Academy Award nominated actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld has been tapped to play Kate Bishop in Marvel and Disney's upcoming "Hawkeye" TV Series for Disney Plus!

Steinfeld, who got her nomination from her breakout role as Mattie Ross in "True Grit" and also starred in last December's "Bumblebee", will be joining veteran MCU actor Jeremy Renner in the series - who reprises his role as the original Hawkeye Clint Barton. A member of the Young Avengers, Kate Bishop first appeared in the eponymous series as one of the founding members of teenage superheroes gathering together to honor the memory of the Avengers. She has since come into her own as a hero, sharing the name "Hawkeye" with the blessing of her mentor and fellow archer Clint Barton.

This will be Hailee's second Marvel character to play if ever, as she also voiced Spider-Gwen/ Gwen Stacy in the Academy Award winning animated film "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse"! No word yet on when the exact release date of "Hawkeye" will be, but it's expected to come to Disney Plus on 2021.

Ewan McGregor to return as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Disney Plus Star Wars series

First rumored and long talked about for years as a potential Star Wars spin-off film, it looks like the idea of Ewan McGregor's return as Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi will FINALLY happen - as Variety reports that McGregor is in talks to reprise his famous role from the Star Wars prequel trilogy in a brand third Star Wars series being developed for Disney's upcoming streaming service, Disney Plus.

Star Wars The Best of Obi Wan Kenobi

Originally, the plan/ rumor was for McGregor to reprise his role as Kenobi in a standalone Star Wars spin-off film in the same vein as "Rogue One" and "Solo". Unfortunately the unsuccessful roll out of the latter film in May last year shelved those ideas, and now it looks like Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker's mentor will be back in this as of yet untitled third Star Wars series - which will be joining Jon Favreau's "The Mandalorian" starring Pedro Pascal, and another show focusing on Diego Luna's "Rogue One" character Cassian Andor.

Look out for more updates on McGregor's return as Obi-Wan soon from Disney as they prepare to hype up Disney Plus - which also includes new Marvel shows like "WandaVision" and "Loki".
