DC Metal: "Bats Out Of Hell" and "Hawkman Found" announced

DC Metal has begun, and with it a slew of reveals, more questions, and the kind of event set up that leaves a lot of things that Batman, the Justice League, and the rest of the DC Universe have to prepare to deal with as a "Dark Multiverse" prepares to be discovered and evil versions of the Dark Knight come forth to unleash their unholy wrath. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo are literally setting up the pace for expansion - and there's plenty of tie-ins for this event that will gradually bleed into the DCU and bring about the many changes DC Rebirth has promised since it started last year.

Speaking of tie-ins, DC Comics has announced two new ones to look forward to - "Bats Out Of Hell" and "Hawkman Found". The former will see the Justice League's related titles and members dealing with the Evil Batmen, while "Hawkman Found" will be a series that finally brings back Carter Hall, aka Hawkman, to the DC Rebirth saga and answer just what the hell is going on with him, the mystery involving his role and "Dark Nights Metal", and so forth.

"Bats Out Of Hell" begins on November while "Hawkman Found" lands on December!

Arrow & The Flash Crossover: New photo features Hawkman and Hawkgirl in chains

With crossover season nearing and more previews and sneak peeks coming up for what will certainly be a "Justice League" worthy team-up to remember, The CW has released a brand new behind-the-scenes photo for the Arrow/ Flash Crossover episode featuring Hawkman and Hawkgirl - two characters that will be among the main cast of the brand new spinoff show airing next year in "DC's Legends of Tomorrow".

As seen in the pic via Comic Book.com, the Hawks are chained and are obviously being used as bait to trap whatever adversary the heroes are facing, with guesses pointing to Vandal Savage most likely as he is the main baddie for Legends.

Catch the Arrow and The Flash crossover event beginning with The Scarlet Speedster's "Legends of Today"  on Dec. 1 and ending with Arrow's "Legends of Yesterday" on December 2.

Arrow/ Flash/ Legends Crossover '15: First team photo released

Tweeted by executive producer Marc Guggenheim and shared via social media and news sites like Comic Book.com, the very first picture from this year's Arrow & Flash crossover stint that will introduce DC's Legends of Tomorrow features none other than the cast of Arrow, The Flash, and Legends itself - namely Team Arrow: Green Arrow, Speedy, Black Canary, and John Diggle, The Flash, and Legends stars Hawkman and Hawkgirl!

As the photo looks like it's part of the "Arrow" side of the crossover, this is the first real look at the "Arrowverse" version of the "Justice League", and the storyline is expected to not only introduce characters that will feature in the new spin-off show set for January 2016, but also introduce the big baddie of the program in Vandal Savage as well.

Catch the Arrow and Flash crossover episode in Three Weeks, namely December 2015!

R.I.P Joe Kubert

Sad news rocked the comic world, as legendary comic book artist Joe Kubert passed away. The news was reported by DCUO-Unlimited, and tweeted by several comic book news sites like Wizard World.

Father of well-known comic artists Andy Kubert and Adam Kubert, as well as the founder of The Kubert School that specializes of sequential art and comics, Joe Kubert was known for his tenure in DC Comics. he co-created Sgt. Rock, and worked on characters like Tor, Hawkman, and even the Caped Crusader himself Batman. He will certainly be missed, and condolences and prayers go out to The Kubert family at this time.
