Wonder Woman 1984: First Look/ Opening Scene Released

 


Following the virtual red carpet world premiere event held to welcome the long awaited return of Diana of Themyscira in a new adventure set in the 1980's, Warner Bros. and DC Films have released a first look at the full opening scene for "Wonder Woman 1984" - which once again stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Chris Pine as the resurrected Steve Trevor, as they deal with two new adversaries in Maxwell Lord and Cheetah.

Wonder Woman 194 will premiere in BOTH theaters and HBO Max on December 25 in the US.

While the world is facing trying times at the moment and a lot of events and things we have looked forward to are being pushed away to new dates, Vogue and Wonder Woman actress herself Gal Gadot are keeping spirits high by letting people read about the woman behind the Amazon - a spotlight feature on Gadot herself! Via the magazine's official website itself, we are treated to a new feature that looks at how the star is coping with the Corona Virus crisis affecting the world - her life, andof course the film that set her up as a symbol of hope, justice, and beauty worldwide.

Diana is all armored up in a brand new poster for "Wonder Woman 1984"



As the world steadies itself and takes measures to contain the corona virus including the cancellations of events and releases, hope remains that things will turn around and we will be able to fight this invisible enemy and make people better. In that same spirit of "Hope" and "Love", Gal Gadot suits up in her beautiful Amazonian armor for a brand new poster for "Wonder Woman 1984" - which is scheduled to release this June and is set in the year in its title - the trippy and synthesizing world of the 80's!

Entertainment Weekly spotlights "Wonder Woman 1984" in the cover to the March 2020 issue!


Now that "Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)" is out in theaters, Warner Bros. and DC Films are preparing to shift their focus promoting their next superhero film they have this year - the return of Gal Gadot as Diana of Themyscira/ Wonder Woman in the follow up sequel - "Wonder Woman 1984"!



Via Entertainment Weekly, Gal takes the spotlight in the cover to the March 2020 issue promoting the new installment of the DC Extended Universe - where she is clad in her new "Wing Armor" that the Amazon Princess will use in her battle against evil in the highly anticipated sequel film. Wonder Woman 1984: Check out this new breathtaking still of Gal Gadot back as Diana of Themyscira


Hitting theaters next year and set to bring Gal Gadot back as Diana of Themyscira but this time in the 1980's, Warner Bros. has released via Empire a new still for "Wonder Woman 1984" - the DC Films sequel that sees Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig joining as Maxwell Lord and Cheetah respectively, and Chris Pine returning as Steve Trevor.


The new still shows Gadot as Wonder Woman swinging inside a shopping mall in the midst of a battle.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on June 2020.

ICYMI: Check out the first trailer and character posters for "Wonder Woman 1984"


Premiering first at this year's CCXP in Brazil, Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, director Patty Jenkins, and Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot have unveiled to the world the very first trailer for "Wonder Woman 1984" - the long awaited sequel to 2017's "Wonder Woman" and seeing Diana Prince coming into conflict with Maxwell Lord and Cheetah - portrayed by Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig respectively. The film also features the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor - Wonder Woman's love interest from the first film.

Besides the Amazon Warrior Princess herself in flashy new battle armor, check out the rest of the new character posters below.

DC Films releases teaser posters for "Birds of Prey" and "Wonder Woman 1984" at Las Vegas CinemaCon


During CinemaCon at Las Vegas, Warner Bros. and DC Films went ahead released some pretty simple yet effective teaser posters for their slate of DC Movies coming next year - namely "Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn) and "Wonder Woman 1984"!

Thanks to Superherohype, we get a look at these one sheets, featuring a black script design poster with a lipstick kiss for Birds of Prey, and a VHS design poster for WW 1984.


Birds of Prey will be released on February 2020, while Wonder Woman 1984 hits on June 2020.

Wonder Woman 1984: Gal Gadot releases first pic of her back in costume


Following the release of two exclusive first look photos featuring Diana Prince and Steve Trevor respectively, Gal Gadot has released a brand new photo showing her back in the costume as Wonder Woman in "Wonder Woman 1984" - with the exiled Amazon Warrior Princess looking like she's dressed to fight and battle anything that would come her way. The image was released by Gadot via her Facebook page, before circulating to the Wonder Woman movie page and other channels.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be released in theaters on October 2019.

ICYMI: Check out the first two photos of "Wonder Woman 1984"


Now currently filming and prepared for release on fall next year, Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins are reteaming for the Wonder Woman sequel, which is titled "Wonder Woman 1984" and will see Diana Prince's next past adventure set in the 80's, where she will be facing a new adversary in The Cheetah (played by Kristen Wiig). Pedro Pascual also joins the cast, and Chris Pine will be returning in his role as Steve Trevor (how is the big question that we will find out next year hopefully).
