DC: Infinite Frontier expands to six issue summer event series beginning this June

Looks like this week's one-shot 64 page DC: Infinite Frontier was just a warm up of things to come for DC Comics' plans for the summer, as the publisher has officially announced that they are continuing things with a new six-issue miniseries for "Infinite Frontier". Here's the announcement from DC Comics themselves:

Infinite Frontier, a new six-issue miniseries by Joshua Williamson and Xermanico with covers by Mitch Gerads, begins on June 22 to further explore DC’s rapidly expanding Multiverse!

In this summer event, Alan Scott, the Green Lantern from the Justice Society of America, has noticed some of his allies are still missing in action, and he's determined to find them. There are others, though, that would rather remain hidden than explain themselves, like Roy Harper, a.k.a. Arsenal, a man who should be dead now is not. Plus, what does all this mean for the DCU's place in the Multiverse? On opposite sides of a dimensional divide, both Barry Allen and President Superman ponder this question. Not to mention the Darkseid of it all! Or a team of Multiversal heroes called Justice Incarnate!

Infinite Frontier #1 will be released on June 22.

Pedro Pascal's first role for the unaired NBC Wonder Woman pilot resurfaces online

It's hard to believe that there was a time when Wonder Woman stood a chance of getting a brand new TV Series airing on NBC with Adrianne Palicki as the Amazon Warrior Princess, but it's even harder to believe that Maxwell Lord actor and "Wonder Woman 1984" star Pedro Pascal was actually a character in that unaired pilot... And the footage has resurfaced online courtesy of Reddit and posted on Comic Book Movie!

OTHER: TIL that Pedro Pascal was cast in an unaired Wonder Woman (2011) tv show produced by WBTV and DC entertainment for NBC. from r/DC_Cinematic

Pascal of course would go on to star in other bigger roles, including as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones and Din Djardin aka Mando in The Mandalorian! How things come full circle!

It's official: "Zack Snyder's Justice League" will officially be coming to HBO Max in 2021!

In what was certainly the best news many fans and viewers of the DC Extended Universe have waited and prayed for, director Zack Snyder dropped a bombshell announcement during his "Man Of Steel" Quarantine Watch party and confirmed the longstanding rumors - there will be a Snyder Cut released for "Justice League"!

Zack Snyder OFFICIALLY announces JUSTICE LEAGUE SNYDER CUT FOR HBO MAX 2021!!

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter and shown during the watch party, Snyder acknowledged all the hopes and dreams that came with the "#ReleaseTheSnyderCut" movement - showing those joining the video conference including Superman himself Henry Cavill that the Snyder Cut will be making its debut on HBO 's streaming service, HBO Max, next year!

Originally released in 2017, "Justice League" was met with mixed reviews and looked like a lot of material was missing- but now the Snyder Cut looks to rectify that situation and present us with something completely new and true to the director's original vision. How long and what form that will take is still up in the air, with guesses being it may be as long as a four hour movie or split into a series. Whatever that may be - this will be what Zack Snyder intended before things got in the way in the production phase that forced many changes, as well as the fact the director had to step away due to a family tragedy - leaving fellow superhero movie director Joss Whedon to come in and finish the project.

He's bringing the band back together, and it will be "an entirely new thing". Zack Snyder's Justice League will be premiering on HBO Max on 2021. It will also include the big baddie himself - DARKSEID.
