Robocop 2014: First Theatrical Poster and Trailer arrive

The Future of Law Enforcement has been remade for the new generation.

Making its way to theaters on February next year, Columbia Pictures and MGM begin official promotions for director Jose Padilha's bold new reimagination of the cybernetic pop culture cop and hero, Robocop. After seeing the very first trailer of the movie released the past week, the filmmakers have graced the world with a slick theatrical poster that shows that while different, the new version of Robocop means business, and he's surely going to be taking names.

Star Trek Into Darkness: Extended/ Alternate International Trailer & a fun side note fact

Following the release of the new international trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness a few days ago, Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot Productions (via the latter's Twitter feed) have decided to give fans more in the form of an "extended/ alternate" version of the same trailer, filled with more action and explosions that show just how serious things are going to get for the U.S.S Enterprise and Starfleet.

Trailer's right below, followed by a fun side note about some of the actors in the film who are legends in their own right and have both done pretty awesome roles.

The Dark Knight Returns: New Clip shows Batman's return to action

Due to be released in DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital Download this Wednesday, Warner Bros. has released another clip teasing its upcoming new DC Universe Original Animated Movie, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1. Focusing on an older Bruce Wayne's (voiced by Robocop alum Peter Weller) return to the cowl after a 10-year absence, this epic alternate reality story on the Caped Crusader is based on the same 1980's graphic novel by acclaimed writer Frank Miller. Via MTV Geek News, the very first trailer for the upcoming new DC Universe Animated Original Movie "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1" has arrived! Based on Frank Miller's seminal graphic novel masterpiece that helped return the Caped Crusader to his dark roots, the story unfolds in a future where an aged Bruce Wayne has retired from the cape and cowl for a decade, only to see himself return as The Dark Knight when Gotham City is plagued with more crime and threats than ever before. Check out the trailer to the first of a two-part Animated Movie epic that was a long time coming for Batfans!

Peter "Robocop" Weller joins Star Trek 2 cast!

You knew him as "The Future of Law Enforcement", and he played the role for two movies. Now, via a report from Variety and Comic Book Movie, actor Peter Weller has been added to the cast of J.J. Abrams' next Star Trek Movie!

A veteran actor, thespian, and director, Weller, 64, is best known for his role as officer Alex Murphy/ Robocop, in the 1987 sci-fi cult classic film of the same name. Like recent addition Alice Eve, details about Weller's role in the next Trek film are still under wraps, but this is arguably both a surprise and welcomed addition, and I'm sure fans who remember Murphy will welcome this legendary screen presence with open arms.
