Arriving on the same year that Christopher Nolan’s second Batman film in “The Dark Knight” celebrates its 15th anniversary, the wave consists of Batman, The Joker, Harvey Dent/ Two-Face, and Scarecrow - with the Build-A-Figure being none other than Bane himself! DC Comics: Batman Vs Bane after Forever Evil... And Wally West returns in April!

It's BIG NEWS in the world of comics, and in the universe of DC Comics, some things are coming to a head and returning in a very BIG way that's sure to excite fans of Batman and The Flash altogether.

First off, is the return of the long lost successor to Barry Allen's mantle of The Flash, his own nephew Wally West... Who returns this April (FINALLY) in a new storyline beginning in The Flash Annual #3. However, it's not yet known HOW or WHY he returns... And his absence for three years since The New 52 began had fans craving for his comeback. Now they get their wish, courtesy of writers Robert Venditti and Van Jansen and artist Brett Booth... With a new Blue Costume for the second speedster in Modern DC Universe to carry the title "The Flash". And now the second item sees "Two Batmen" coming to blows, as Bruce Wayne returns to reclaim his spot as the "One True Batman" after Bane unofficially stepped in to use the symbol during the events of "Forever Evil: Arkham War". It's Batman vs Bat-Bane in a clash that happens in the Aftermath of the event, as Comic Book Resources gives us a look at the cover to "Forever Evil Aftermath: Batman Vs Bane #1"!

Forever Evil: Bane Rules Gotham as Bat-Bane... And a SPOILER Deja Vu moment

It looks like things in The DC New 52 Universe are echoing some old moments in DC Comics history, as the latest issue of Forever Evil: Arkham War brought along not only the debut appearance of "Bat-Bane", but repeats a moment where the man who broke Batman's back became notorious for.

DC Comics releases Forever Evil: Arkham War #3 sneak peek showing off "Bat-Bane"

Looks like big changes are coming to Gotham City come next month when DC Comics releases their next chapter to their Forever Evil tie-in series centered around Bane and the Arkham villains with Forever Evil: Arkham War #3 hits shops on December 11.

The official DC Comics website has released a teaser image for the latest issue, written by Peter J. Tomasi and artwork by Scott Eaton and Jaime Mendoza, showing off what pretty much looks like Bane taking things to the next level in his mission to be Gotham's newest protector... By BECOMING THE BATMAN... AKA BAT-BANE.

In short, the man who broke Batman will carve out his own Dark Knight legacy, contrasting his own war with the Arkham inmates and criminals who seek to take Gotham by their own whims. Where is Batman in all of this? "Out of the picture" and too busy because of the events of Forever Evil.

With a few days left until it reaches home video in international territories and next week in the US, a pretty awesome user created this hilarious extension of a pivotal fight scene from "The Dark Knight Rises"!

Via YouTube, HomeTrailers managed to create an "extended version" of the infamous "Where's The Trigger?!" scene from the final battle in the film. SPOILERS of course, so view this spoof at your own risk! Poor Bane here has to take blows from Batman literally and verbally, lol.

The Dark Knight Rises sees release on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital format this November 28th internationally and December 4th in the US!

As the days wind down to its much anticipated home video release, new unused posters have popped up online for Christopher Nolan's epic final chapter to his Dark Knight Trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises! Created by Trailer Park at the request of Warner Bros. but not used in the promotional process, these posters have appeared in the former company's official website, and have also been featured in Batman-News.

A unique fan film has surfaced online that shows an angle that would have likely taken place during the events of Christopher Nolan's epic final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. Warner Bros. steps up the game once again with the marketing of The Dark Knight Rises by releasing a new TV Spot for the movie! The first One is a combination of TV Spot #1 and #2 which focuses on Bane vs Batman, while the new TV Spot #3 centers on the "RISE" theme. SPOILERS abound with new footage featured on these mini trailers, so view at your own risk!

The Dark Knight Rises: New Catwoman poster and more banners appear!

The fire continues to rise with the marketing for The Dark Knight Rises, as Warner Bros. unveils not just two additional banner posters for the film, but a new and femme fatale looking poster featuring Catwoman! Via Batman-News, the new one sheet, which was released through clever viral marketing, features Anne Hathaway's as Selina Kyle's alter ego, wherein her heel crushes one of Batman's signature Batarangs and leaves a playful kiss at the title logo!

Also getting released are these two intense looking banner posters, the first one tweeted by Warner Bros. India and featuring Christian Bale as Batman as he covers himself with his cape which is under fire, with a broken looking Gotham City in the background.

Stepping up the game more to promote their final entry in Christopher Nolan's epic Batman film saga, Warner Bros. has released yet another TV Spot and four new banner posters for The Dark Knight Rises! Featuring Batman, Bane, and Catwoman, each of the banners has a certain moment to convey, as tension runs in the air and Gotham City is truly under siege! After yesterday's reveal of a brand new theatrical poster that received some mixed reactions from the fanbase, Warner Bros. has released a slew of awesome new character posters for Christopher Nolan's final chapter in his Batman film saga, The Dark Knight Rises! There are six of these posters, two of each featuring Batman (Christian Bale), Bane (Tom Hardy), and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway)!

The Dark Knight Rises DC Direct Toyline pics hit the web

Via blogsite Idle Hands and through posts by Comic Book Movie and Batman-News, the first images of DC Direct's official toyline based on Christopher Nolan's upcoming final Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises" has leaked on the web, showing off statues, busts, and figurines based on Batman, Bane, and Catwoman (played by Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, and Anne Hathaway respectively). Not due to be revealed until the New York Toy Fair next month, these pics show clearly how the figures will look, some obviously still prototypes and subject to changes at the moment.

While we all know how Batman and Bane look like in the movie, but this is the first real time we see a close up "official" look of Anne Hathaway's appearance as Selina Kyle/ Catwoman in toy form. It's a pity that it doesn't take after the modern comic look of the character, but it certainly pays tribute to the 60's Batman TV Series look, which was performed by acting legend Julie Newman. It literally looks like a typical "Cat Burglar" mixed with a "Ballroom Mask" motif, and hopefully we'll learn why this is the case when the movie arrives later this year. The Dark Knight Rises: New pictures and plot details surface!

After the unveiling of their newest issue featuring Christian Bale as Batman in the cover, Entertainment Weekly has released brand new photos and details online on Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan's final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises! Via Batman-News.com and EW itself, new pics have appeared giving fans a sneak peek of what's to come later this year. Above is a very nice shot of Bale as Bruce Wayne, standing beside his Batsuit as he contemplates his next move against his new adversary - Bane (played by Tom Hardy).

Creative parodies of The Dark Knight Rises Trailer!

Since it hit the web in December, the official theatrical trailer of The Dark Knight Rises has generated a lot of buzz, comments, and "creative output", with the latter taking shape in the form of "parodies" that mix and match parts from the trailer. Streaming through You Tube and being posted in other news blog sites, there have been several new trailers that combine footage from other well known things from the pop culture spectrum, and the end result is just awesomeness personified. The Dark Knight Rises: Bane's voice being improved for the movie

UPDATE: CBM reports that Warner Bros. has debunked the rumors, and there is "no truth" to the new audio mix news.

Via a report from Collider as well as a story posted at Comic Book Movie, it appears that a lot of the feedback and comments given towards the near inaudibility of Bane's voice in The Dark Knight Rises has been addressed, as new reels of the TDKR Prologue introducing the villain (played by Tom Hardy) are now reportedly "clearer" and much easier to understand. A new audio recording has reportedly been sent, making it much easier to understand Bane as he talks without the background noise drowning the dialogue away. Not much else to say regarding the matter, but this is definitely good news for those who didn't understand and took issue to the voice. Finally making it's way online officially courtesy of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, here is the new theatrical and second trailer to Christopher Nolan's epic and final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises! Starring Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph-Gordon Levitt, and Anne Hathaway, this final adventure of the saga of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego culminates with the ultimate battle against evil in the form of Bane, who will put The Dark Knight and Gotham City to the ultimate test. December is a big month for fans of Christopher Nolan and Batman. It heralds the release of the much anticipated prologue of "The Dark Knight Rises" with IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. It also saw the rise of the viral marketing campaign for the movie by Warner Bros, plotting down clues and various interactive material for fans to decipher in order to learn information related to the movie (and in the case of Operation: Early Bird, the locations of early screenings of the prologue).

Now, as mentioned months before and to probably usher in the debut of the new trailer sometime this month, Warner Bros. has released the newest poster for The Dark Knight Rises, and it signals the coming of Bane (played by Tom Hardy), and the end of an era that started in 2005 and skyrocketed with an awesome sequel in 2008. Take a look at the one sheet!

Very nice, and it echoes the promise of Bane "breaking the bat" ala the classic Batman storyline "Knightfall", where The Dark Knight's spine was broken by the brute. The Dark Knight Rises: New info surfaces about Bane and 6 minute prologue

New information via Rama Screen, also posted in Comic Book Movie and Enewsi, has surfaced online that reveals more detailed information on the role of Bane (Tom Hardy) is and how the 6 minute prologue will play out for The Dark Knight Rises. This is reportedly insider information, and the person who wishes to remain anonymous has seen the prologue that's going to be attached with 70mm IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Until it's confirmed, take these bits of info as rumors for the meantime, but it sure is interesting to read about. Possible SPOILERS for those who wish to keep their minds, so if I were you, turn away from this post now.
