ICYMI: Silent Hill 2 Remake Arrives for PS5 and Steam on October 8

 


One of the most eagerly awaited remakes finally has a release date just in time for Halloween season this year, and via Konami themselves - the Silent Hill 2 Remake is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam this October 8!

Wade Wilson and Logan are about to throw it down and have the dream team-up fans have been asking for, as Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprise their roles for Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool and Wolverine” this July - and tickets are now being sold for fans anxiously waiting for this superhero movie that’s part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Silent Hill Transmission Returns This May 30

 


It’s been a long time since the very first Silent Hill Transmission digital event was held by Konami in October 2022 and revealed to the world new projects for the then long dormant survival horror franchise. In addition to confirming the existence and development of the long rumored Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill fans were treated to new trailers and reveals of upcoming new games and even a new film - “Return to Silent Hill”, which of course got a lot of fans excited.

Nearly two years later and following some game releases and updates on the status of the Silent Hill 2 Remake, Konami will return with a brand new Silent Hill Transmission digital event - which takes place on May 30, 4pm PDT on the Silent Hill YouTube channel. Stay tuned and be prepared for whatever announcements may come!

Batman: Caped Crusader: Entertainment Weekly Released First Look Images, Series Premieres on August 1 on Prime Video

 


One of the most anticipated new animated series projects by DC and Amazon Prime is “Batman: Caped Crusader” - a new 40’s style noir reinterpretation of the Dark Knight and his world that comes from the mind of “Batman: The Animated Series” creator Bruce Timm and is co-produced by J.J Abrams and “The Batman” director Matt Reeves!







Arriving on Prime Video on August 1, the project finally gets some new screenshots giving fans a first look at the series - with Batman and Bruce Wayne seen of course as well as new reinterpretations of Catwoman, Clayface, and fan favorite Harley Quinn - who is an Asian American villain in this brand new series.

Captain America: Brave New World: Empire Magazine Gives A New Look at Sam Wilson’s New Cap Uniform

 


Originally set for release this year but pushed back to early 2025 to make way for additional reshoots and adjustments, Marvel Studios’ next Captain America film that sees Sam Wilson headlining has a new first look image courtesy of Empire Magazine as a new image for “Captain America: Brave New World” shows Anthony Mackie sporting a new Captain America universe that’s more blue and combines aspects of his Falcon costume as well in addition to wielding the shield passed to him by Steve Rogers.

The new film is set to be released on February next year, anf will also star Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross - replacing the late William Hurt and now the new President of the United States for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Read more info via Empire Magazine’s article here.

After the release of the brand new trailer showcasing more of Hugh Jackman’s return as Logan/ Wolverine and teaming up with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, Marvel Studios and Empire Magazine have released the cover to the upcoming new issue of Empire Mag that spotlights “Deadpool & Wolverine”  - which shows off Wolverine, Deadpool, and Dogpool too!

And then there’s this exclusive subscriber’s cover that’s done kiddie animation style of the three together!

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: Blu-Ray Deleted Scene Hints at Secret Invasion Twist


 

One of Marvel Studios first shows on Disney + as part of “Phase Four” is finally available on Home Video - as  “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” has been released on Blu-Ray! This spin-off series to the Captain America films follows the adventures of Sam Wilson/ Falcon and Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier as they navigate in a post-Blip world where Steve Rogers has retired from the role of Captain America and Sam was given the shield to succeed him. However he instead donates it to the Smithsonian Exhibit, and as the world experiences a new attack led by activists - the shield is passed to an unlikely successor.


In a new deleted scene released by IGN that comes together with the special features of the home release - Sam Wilson catches up with James “Rhodey” Rhodes aka War Machine, and this meeting hints to what is later revealed to be Skrull posing as Rhodey in the “Phase Five” miniseries “Secret Invasion”.
