ICYMI: Rockstar Games Releases the First Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer

 

At long last and following a leak that forced their hand to release the trailer ahead of its world premiere schedule, Rockstar Games has given fans the very first look at “Grand Theft Auto VI” - which arrives some time in 2025.

First female lead protagonist and returning to modern day Vice City. We can expect more teases down the line soon.

To celebrate 20 years of Grand Theft Auto III and revitalize interest on the classic GTA games that came out in the PlayStation 2 era, Rockstar Games remasters three classic games and rereleases them as "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition"!

Here's the trailer showing the changes made to GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas - and coming to consoles and PC this November 11 digitally and December 7 for physical media!

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas turns 10 Years today

Can you believe it? GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS TURNED 10 YEARS OLD TODAY.

As one of the three main GTA games released during the sixth generation of console gaming, this game literally helped Rockstar Games signature sandbox open-world game evolve, and was heavily influenced by early 90's lifestyle, popculture, and music.

Set in the fictional state of San Andreas, the story centers around Carl "CJ" Johnson - an African-American gang member from Los Santos who returns home following the murder of his mother. Reuniting with his family and friends, CJ finds he has to take matters into his own hands to clean things up and remake his destiny to escape all the dirt and corrupt elements hounding everything around his life. As such, the player guide the character through numerous story-based missions and objectives, and eventually explores the vast state of San Andreas, which is divided into three main parts - Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas.

Someone even made this tribute trailer just in time for the anniversary... Which is just COOL.

Released originally for the Playstation 2, GTA San Andreas eventually got ported to other consoles and PC, and is also getting an HD re-release now just in time for its 10th Anniversary for current generation consoles.

Truly, this game is a classic that definitely is worth revisiting for those who enjoy mission based games and sandbox anything goes gameplay.

Grand Theft Auto V officially announced for Spring 2013

Following months of teasers and sneak peeks, Rockstar Games has finally announced when Grand Theft Auto V will be released: by Spring 2013! The news broke out in the video game developer's official website, as well as gaming news site Kotaku.

The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V debuts today!

Officially announced via their Twitter account last October 25th, Rockstar Games unveils their very first trailer to Grand Theft Auto V, which debuts today, November 2nd. This will give gamers a first look at the next major Grand Theft Auto game since Grand Theft Auto IV's release back in 2008, and will once again pit adventurers in a sandbox styled action game world filled with adventure, crime, and open possibilities to explore.
