It's The Batman's 75th Anniversary this year, and while we have a lot to thank artist Bob Kane for coming up with the concept of the character, there's another unsung hero and comic personality who deserves a lot of credit for making Bruce Wayne and what his Dark Knight alter ego is today... And that's none other than Bill Finger.
Via i09 and Comic Book Resources, illustrator Ty Templeton made a pretty convincing classic comic strip on how Batman would have looked if Bob Kane had gone ahead and created "Bat-Man" without Bill Finger. This is simply a must read!
And there you have it. Bill Finger's influence would make The Batman as how he is TODAY.
February 8 marks what would have been Finger's 100th Birthday. 2014 truly is The Year of The Bat indeed.

Marvel Movies: Stark Industries Motorcycle on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 set?
*UPDATE (4/29): Io9 updated. It's not part of the movie*
Chalk this up to speculation, but it's an interesting update nonetheless!
Via a post from i09, the popculture news website received a message and photo from one of its readers Chris, who spotted a Stark Industries motorcycle on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"! Now, Sony Pictures has the rights to producing films centered around the Spider-Man franchise... But could these be subtle hints that the new Spidey film universe could join and be a part of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe? With Iron Man 3 ushering in "Phase 2" of Marvel Studios' next wave of films, fanboys can only hope something epic could occur!
As it is, the bike was spotted on the New York set where filming is taking place. It could belong to a filmmaker or a fan, or just a random thing appearing on location entirely. Either way it's anybody's guess, so for more insight and information, visit the source post at i09!
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into conventional and 3D theaters on May 2, 2014!

Teenagers dressed as superheroes stakeout sex predators!
This takes the meaning of cosplaying and being a superhero to a whole new level.
Via a story from i09, a couple of teenagers from Chillawack, B.C dressed as Batman and The Flash to nab a couple of men who were looking for sex with underaged girls, taping the meetings and posting them over at You Tube. Inspired by the TV Show "To Catch A Predator", the boys posed as underaged girls and chatted with the men online, leading them to a public area and then confronting them dressed as the DC superheroes Batman and The Flash. An example of such a confrontation is the embedded video below from the YouTube channel of these teenagers, "ToTrollAPredatorTV":
