ICYMI: X-Men: Apocalypse: The deleted mall scene that didn't make it to the movie

Since it was released last May and added a new chapter to the prequel saga of the X-Men Movies timeline, "X-Men: Apocalypse" has finally hit digital media and will see home release next month. Among the special features included in the release is this deleted scene that actually expands on the adventures of the new young mutants introduced in the sequel - namely the younger Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, and Jubilee - who go on a trip to the shopping mall and enjoy themselves circa the 80's!

Check it out c/o Tumblr and Comic Book.com.

The images come straight from from the Tumblr page "F&*% Yeah Jared Leto" and have been featured in Comic Book Movie. Check out more via the link.

Iron Man 3: New "Iron Men" Poster surfaces online

With several character posters and an Empire Magazine cover popping up for Iron Man 3, it's no surprise that a really epic one sheet would follow shortly... And indeed it has. Through the interwebz and Robert Downey Jr. themed Tumblr website I Heart Cupcakes, a brand new "Iron Men" poster has appeared in some theater, showcasing a battle damaged Iron Man with Tony Stark's helmet missing and him looking mighty pissed off... With a number of Iron Men, or Iron Legion, in the background (UPDATE: His destroyed California home) under his control!

UPDATE: Via their Facebook Page, Yahoo! Movies has uploaded the CLEAR VERSION of the NEW POSTER.

For those who aren't in the know, the new trailer that's going to appear with Oz The Great and Powerful will showcase new scenes... Including Tony in his new Extremis powered armor controlling his other Iron Men suits, effectively using it as an army. We'll just have to wait and see how that pans out, so for more on this new poster, check out the source post at I Heart Cupcakes and Bleeding Cool!

Iron Man 3 soars into theaters on May 3, 2013!

Fully Booked: David Finch will be in Manila this March 17 and 18!

Announced by Comic Odyssey earlier in the day, Fully Booked has officially announced via their Tumblr page that DC Comics artist David Finch will be coming to Manila, Philippines on March 17 and 18 to meet and greet fans at the bookstore's branch at Bonifacio High Street. This comes after last week's unfortunate news, where unforeseen circumstances had to force Mr. Finch to miss his scheduled tour for March 11, 12, and 13. Now the man behind Batman: The Dark Knight  is really coming this time, and anyone living in Manila who's a fan of his works and comics will surely want to plan their weekends for this!

Here's the official announcement from Fully Booked themselves via Tumblr!

"David Finch in Manila has been rescheduled to THIS WEEKEND! :-) We are very happy to announce this and will be releasing the details as soon as we can. Kindly stay tuned and help spread the word to the rest of his fans! :-)"

Be sure to catch David Finch at Fully Booked at BHS this Saturday and Sunday! Also, resident DC Comics cosplayers Justice PHGotham PH and Gotham Madness will be there to support the artist and bookstore, wearing the cape, cowl, and uniforms of the characters from the Batman universe! See you all there!

Fan Made The Dark Knight "Batman" Opening!

Looking over the interwebz on this triple digit day of 11-11-11, I happened to stumble across this piece of awesomeness that pays tribute to not only one, but TWO Batman source materials! Take a gander at this fan made intro video that combines Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight with the 1960's Batman opening!

Fan made The Dark Knight "Batman" opening

As a big fan of The Bat, this brought a smile to my face! Heck, even DCU and Comic Book Movie were so impressed that they featured this in their posts! Props go to happydragonpics for this one!

Daily DCU features me on their 2011 Halloween Costume reel at Tumblr!

Pleasant tidings come from the DC Universe, as I finally get to share a pic of me cosplaying my favorite character with the rest of the world, and just in time for Halloween too!

While wandering the Tumblrverse as "The Wandering Warrior", I stumbled upon Daily DCU's 2011 Halloween Costume submission post, which called for any DC fan out there to submit their best DC inspires costume. Since I suit up as The Dark Knight himself, Batman, I gleefully submitted my entry, which you can see below!

Credits go to Pamela Olarte for this shot, and thanks also goes to my cosplay team, Justice PH for the help and joys of cosplaying as Timzster. It's a real honor to be there with the rest of the DCU fans who have entries... and maybe you can get yours up as well if you're reading this and have a DC inspired costume! So just go to Daily DCU and submit your entry folks!;)

The Dark Knight Rises Update: New Logo Poster

Besides the new "Anne Hathway as Catwoman" update that's spreading over the net, a new logo poster of "The Dark Knight Rises" can be found over at the film's official website. It's not much, but it's a nice looking broken logo with the title on it that foreshadows dark things to come for Bruce Wayne and his alter ego next year. Thanks goes to "The Bale" for sharing this in Tumblr.

The Dark Knight Rises takes on theaters worldwide on July 20, 2012!
