The Hobbit: There and Back Again gets bumped to December 2014

Looks like fans of Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" trilogy will truly see each installment wrap up at the end of each year, as New Line Cinema and MGM have moved the release of the last film "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" from July 18, 2014 to December 17, 2014. This keeps it in line with the consistent release of Middle-Earth films every December, and puts the last film away from Bryan Singer's new X-Men flick "X-Men: Days of Future Past", which also happens to star Gandalf actor Sir Ian McKellen, who reprises his role as Magneto in the Marvel film.

Based on J.R.R Tolkien's book of the same name, The Hobbit Trilogy is a prequel to The Lord of The Rings Trilogy and chronicles the adventures of a Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf The Wizard, and a company of dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield. The first film, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", hit theaters last December 12, while the next installment, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", hits theaters this December 13. The Hobbit: Third Film gets release date; Second gets new title

Before it was announced as a trilogy, Peter Jackson's The Hobbit was originally developed into two films, startring with this year's upcoming release of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", which serves as the epic prequel to his Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. Then word came that another film would be added to the set, yet there was no title given when the announcement was made.

Via Bleeding Cool, it appears that official confirmation has been given by Warner Bros. and MGM, as "The Hobbit" Trilogy will be adding and releasing its third film "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" on July 14, 2014. The second film which carried that title will be renamed, as "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", and will retain its release date of December 13, 2013.

First Look at The Adventures of Tintin poster!

At last, after being on the dark on how this movie would be fairing before its release, the legendary young adventurer Tintin and his puppy dog Snowy are coming to cinemas this fall! One of my favorite childhood adventure books is coming to the big screen later this year, and it's directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by LOTR director Peter Jackson!
