First look at Nicholas Hault as young J.R.R. Tolkien in "Tolkien"
Before Peter Jackson helped make "Middle-Earth" a blockbuster epic and household name with his film adaptations of J.R.R Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit", there was the man behind the books - and his story will be told this year with Dome Karukoski directing and David Gleeson and Stephen Beresford behind the screenplay, and actor Nicholas Hault as the young Tolkien.
Entertainment Weekly has released the first few images of "Tolkien", which is due out on May 10 by Fox Searchlight Pictures.

The Hobbit: There and Back Again gets bumped to December 2014
Looks like fans of Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" trilogy will truly see each installment wrap up at the end of each year, as New Line Cinema and MGM have moved the release of the last film "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" from July 18, 2014 to December 17, 2014. This keeps it in line with the consistent release of Middle-Earth films every December, and puts the last film away from Bryan Singer's new X-Men flick "X-Men: Days of Future Past", which also happens to star Gandalf actor Sir Ian McKellen, who reprises his role as Magneto in the Marvel film.
Based on J.R.R Tolkien's book of the same name, The Hobbit Trilogy is a prequel to The Lord of The Rings Trilogy and chronicles the adventures of a Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf The Wizard, and a company of dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield. The first film, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", hit theaters last December 12, while the next installment, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", hits theaters this December 13. For more information on the new release date details, visit the source post at Superherohype!
Distributed by Warner Bros., catch "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" on its new release date on December 17, 2014.
