ICYMI: Persona 5 Golden is now available on PC!

One of the most critically acclaimed Japanese Role Playing Games of the last decade got its PC port today - and if you haven't played or even heard of "Persona 4" - you owe it to yourselves to dive into this classic!

Previously an exclusive to the Playstation Vita handheld system and an update to Atlus' JRPG hit for the PS2, "Persona 4" is a coming of age, Scooby-Doo style supernatural adventure that sees you control a high school transfer student as he makes new friends and embarks on a quest to solve a series of murders haunting the sleepy town of Inaba. Full of hip energy and jazz inspired pop music, this game is widely considered one of the best titles ever made, and it still holds that distinction to this day - even with the release of Persona 5 Royal for current generation platformers.

Besides a standard release, the PC release of the game has a Digital Deluxe Edition as well. Also - DUAL LANGUAGE OPTION for those who want to play with either the English or Japanese cast!

God Of War: Ascension info and trailer goes online!

Anyone who owns a Playstation and knows the name Kratos certainly knows God Of War... And now news has leaked that will excite those itching for a return to bloodbath and action gaming galore!

When we last left the man also known as The Ghost of Sparta, Kratos destroyed everything and took out just about everything standing in his way in God Of War III for the Playstation 3. Following that, another prequel was released for the Playstation Portable, God Of War: Ghost of Sparta, which added another layer of tragedy and conflict to his story. Now, people are waiting for God Of War IV... But there has yet to be an official announcement for that sequel. However, a new trailer has popped up, as well as details for a new game: God Of War: Ascension. It is indeed the newest chapter of Kratos' journey... but it looks like another prequel.

Street Fighter X Tekken: PS Vita version to feature 12 more characters

Street Fighter x Tekken comes out in a few weeks time for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and the Capcom devloped brawler is generating a lot of buzz from its respective fans to show that it's a highly anticipated title nobody can wait for! Still, while those looking forward to the console releases will get it early, their stomachs may churn over the latest news to come out related to the game... And it's looking good right now for those investing on Sony's newest handheld, the Playstation Vita.

Via a report from Andriasang.com, the Vita version of SFxT will be getting a big bonus to compensate for its delayed release to Fall 2012. Twelve new characters will be added to the roster, with six entries on each side, and fans who have been loyal to both franchises will be happy to know who's making the cut.

Street Fighter:
- Elena
- Guy
- Cody
- Sakura
- Dudley
- Blanka

Tekken:
- Lars
- Alisa
- Christie
- Jack
- Bryan
- Lei

This kinda puts a damper on those getting the game early for the big machines, but it's a good bet Capcom will eventually release the Vita exclusive fighters someday, as either DLC or an "upgraded" version of SFxT in the future. Time will tell for sure. For now, take comfort in seeing the new "Features trailer" for the upcoming console version of the game.

Playstation 3 updates to be PS Vita ready!

Those of you who own a Playstation 3 console and look forward to owning a Playstation Vita, better take heed of this news!

With the Japanese launch of the Vita just two weeks away, Sony has prepared gamers with PS3 units for the impending arrival of their newest portable system by releasing their latest system software update, Version 4.00, out in the interwebz. This allows the black monolith console to serve as a content management device for those who have a Vita, and much like its predecessor the Playstation Portable, all videos, music, save data, and files can be easily transferred back and forth by both devices.

Besides Vita compatibility, other features and settings have been given to PSN users and Playstation Plus subscribers. In my case, I just updated my firmware to 4.00, and am looking forward to connectivity between my PS3 and the Vita once I get my own personal unit! For more information, read up the details on Kotaku and the official Playstation Blog!
