Hasbro Marvel Legends, Hasbro Pulse, Walmart Collector Con, CLASSIC DR DR. STRANGE Reveal & REVIEW!!

Since bringing back the beloved 6" line, many Marvel fans and collectors have wondered when Doctor Strange in his classic original costume would be getting the Hasbro ML treatment. The last comic book Doctor Strange comic book figure saw the Sorcerer Supreme in his black and red getup... But many have wanted to see his original blue, red, yellow, and black suit. Now this figure will include two alternate heads - including the blue "mask" he wore for a time, and this will be a Walmart exclusive in the US.

Expect this Doctor Strange ML figure to be seen more in the build up to Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 next month.

ICYMI: Scott Derrickson shares video of Benedict Cumberbatch entering a comic book shop as Doctor Strange

He may not be directing the sequel anymore, but Scott Derrickson will forever be the man who helmed the very first "Doctor Strange" film - introducing the Master of the Mystic Arts into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and having "Sherlock" TV Series star Benedict Cumberbatch play the alter ego of Stephen Strange. While Marvel Studios is moving forward with the follow-up in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness", Derrickson still keeps busy with other projects - and took time in his twitter to share an awesome moment back when they were shooting the first film in location at New York.

Via Scott Derrickson's Twitter, Benedict Cumberbatch - in full character as Doctor Strange - enters a comic book shop and literally the magic and conversations happen.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is tentatively slated for a March 2022 release.

SDCC '14: Benedict Cumberpatch addresses "Doctor Strange" rumors w/ MTV News

A lot of rumors and speculation is building as San Diego Comic-Con runs its course this week, and there's no exception for upcoming films falling under the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which includes a certain fan-favorite Sorcerer Supreme by the name of Doctor Stephen Strange. While it is indeed and already confirmed that horror film director Scott Derrickson would helm the film for a 2016 release, there's been no mention yet of who will star in the coveted titular role, until such time Marvel finally announces it either during their panel presentation this SDCC or sometime in the future.

Now, one of the strongest rumors to flow out of the woodwork was English actor and fan-favorite Sherlock star Benedict Cumberpatch being possibly tapped to play that role of the former neurosurgeon turned Earth's mystic and magical defender. In an exclusive interview with MTV News, Cumberpatch finally addressed those rumors, which you can see in the video below.

Voicing out that he is attached to do a play of "Hamlet" in London and that he could not comment whether he was in discussions with Marvel about the project, it's truly up to interpretation and sounds like a tease from the man who played Khan in Star Trek: Into Darkness and voices Smaug: The Dragon in The Hobbit films. Only time will tell who really gets to play the Sorcerer Supreme in the Big Screen for sure. For more information, visit the source post at MTV.com.

Doctor Strange, falling under Marvel Studios "Phase Three" banner of films, is scheduled for a July 8, 2016 release
