Doctor Strange: UK Blu-Ray and DVD box art and release date revealed


After getting quite the theatrical release and run on late October/ Early November worldwide, Marvel UK has confirmed in their Twitter Page (and via a report by Comic Book.com) that Marvel Studios' "Doctor Strange" is set for release on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 2017. The film, directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, is the 14th entry in the growing Marvel Cinematic Universe and introduces the Sorcerer Supreme and his world to the big screen for the first time.

Doctor Strange hits Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK on March 6, 2017.

Doctor Strange: "Not Pulling Back" IMAX Featurette and IMAX 3D "First Look" event this week


Set to hit theaters in a few weeks (and before October ends internationally), Marvel, Disney and IMAX have released an IMAX featurette for their next Phase 3 film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is "Doctor Strange" - which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange - a surgeon who undergoes a journey to heal his damaged hands only to discover a greater destiny lies ahead of him in the mystic arts.

Doctor Strange: "Inside The Magic" featurette released


Letting the mystic energies flow as the film prepares for its inevitable release in a few weeks time, Marvel has released a new film featurette for their upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film adaptation of "Doctor Strange", which is directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the titular role.

Featuring nearly two minutes of interviews with the cast and footage from the film, check out the video below.

ICYMI: X-Men: Apocalypse: The deleted mall scene that didn't make it to the movie


Since it was released last May and added a new chapter to the prequel saga of the X-Men Movies timeline, "X-Men: Apocalypse" has finally hit digital media and will see home release next month. Among the special features included in the release is this deleted scene that actually expands on the adventures of the new young mutants introduced in the sequel - namely the younger Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, and Jubilee - who go on a trip to the shopping mall and enjoy themselves circa the 80's!

Shin Godzilla: U.S. Theatrical Trailer released





After premiering in Japan and opening in select countries internationally, Toho is about to bring their revived and legendary "King of Monsters" back to the U.S via Funimation this October when "Shin Godzilla" comes to theaters in the states!

Doctor Strange: New international poster debuts online


Set to hit theaters in the US this November and even earlier for parts of Europe and Asia, a brand new UK poster for "Doctor Strange" has debuted online via Marvel (and reported by CBM). The new one sheet has an "Inception" style ring to it with all the realities converging, and the tagline "The Impossibilities Are Endless" just under the title.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story: New Theatrical Trailer released w/ Darth Vader on it


Hitting theaters later this year and telling the story of a group of rebels who make the daring choice to embark on a mission to steal the plans of the Galactic Empire's most dangerous weapon yet, Disney and Lucasfilm Ltd. have released a brand new trailer to "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" -  the first spin-off film set in the same universe as the Star Wars films and which takes place BEFORE the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.


In the trailer, we get more sequences and lines with the cast... And a very special appearance at the end by a certain Sith Lord everyone knows... Darth Vader himself.

Suicide Squad: IMAX Countdown video released


Hitting theaters next week (YES NEXT WEEK) and already putting out all the juicy promos and clips to help spread awareness for the movie, Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, and IMAX via Slash Film have released the exclusive "IMAX Countdown" video that will appear with IMAX showings of the next DC Films entry that is "Suicide Squad". Star Trek Beyond: "Unity" TV Spot and Rihanna's "Sledgehammer" MV released


Hitting theaters next week and featuring the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise on what looks to be their most desperate mission yet, Paramount Pictures has released a new TV Spot for "Star Trek Beyond" - the third film in the "Abramsverse" Star Trek alternate reality timeline that once again features Chris Pine as Capt. James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Zoe Saldana as Uhura, John Cho as Sulu, the late Anton Yelchin as Chekov, and Simon Pegg as Scotty.

Via Superherohype, the new TV Spot is called "Unity" and gives a quick look at the new film adventure, which honors the 50th Anniversary of the Star Trek Franchise.

Suicide Squad: New "Entertainment Weekly" covers highlight Task Force X


Looks like the "Worst Heroes Ever" are getting the spotlight less than a month before their movie opens worldwide, as Entertainment Weekly unveils 4 interconnecting covers to Warner Bros. and DC Films' next entry in their growing DC Extended Universe with "Suicide Squad" - which will feature an all-star ensemble cast playing the villains who are rounded up together by the government to do some good in exchange for lighter sentences.


The four covers, previewed and teased via EW, feature the entire cast that includes the likes of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, and more all posing and looking epic and awesome in costume. Each cover features members of the Squad together and paired, so if you have your favorites and/ or want to complete the set, be sure to reserve or go to your nearest magazine store soon. There's sure to be more about the Squad previewed here, as well as this end of the month when the San Diego Comic Con happens!


Suicide Squad opens in theaters on the first week of August.

Captain America: Civil War Digital and Home Media release dates revealed


One of the most EPIC installments of the long running Marvel Cinematic Universe finally has a release date for digital and home media to its name, as Marvel and Disney have officially announced that "Captain America: Civil War" hits Digital HD and Blu-Ray on the month of September. Packed with over 60 Minutes of bonus content, the digital release will go live starting September 2nd, while the Blu-Ray hits on September 13.

In addition to the usual behind-the-scenes featurettes and audio commentary, the home release will also contain the first exclusive sneak peek at the next MCU film "Doctor Strange", which hits theaters on November. For more details, visit the source post at Comic Book.com.

Suicide Squad: "Sucker For Pain" MV, and "Squad Yourself" Icon Generator released


With a more than a month left until it hits theaters and shows off the baddest villains becoming the "worst heroes ever", Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are releasing more promo material and stuff to spread awareness for David Ayer's "Suicide Squad" - which hits theaters as soon as August begins!

X-Men: Apocalypse: Final Theatrical Trailer released


Hitting theaters next month and making a statement that both humans and mutantkind are in danger with the coming of an ancient being that demands supremacy and conquest, 20th Century Fox and Marvel have released the final theatrical trailer to "X-Men: Apocalypse", which sees Bryan Singer back in the director's chair and pairing James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence once more as Professor X, Magneto, and Mystique for a 1980's adventure that sees the introduction of the evil mutant Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac!

Besides the usual teases and stings, a certain feral mutant who's "The Best There Is At What He Does" appears at the end of this!

Jason Bourne: First full trailer released


After a long period of absence and letting Jeremy Renner take the spotlight for 2012's spin-off "The Bourne Legacy", Matt Damon is ready to return and take back the reigns and resume his role as Jason Bourne in the fifth Bourne film that shares the character's name.

Deadpool announces official home video release... On April Fools Day 2016.

Announcing the highly anticipated home video release of one of the most awesome, hilarious, and highest grossing superhero films ever made, Ryan Reynolds took to his own Facebook page to tease the coming of the "Deadpool" movie in home video... Specifically for VHS and LaserDisc - formats that have now become obsolete and are no longer in productions.

In other words... APRIL FOOLS! But wait just a minute, the Tim Miller directed movie IS coming to home sooner than you think, and that will be on May 10 this year for Blu-Ray and DVD (as confirmed by Comic Book Movie).

Deadpool was released in theaters last February by 20th Century Fox and Marvel and is part of the X-Men Movies universe.

X-Men: Apocalypse: "Destroy" poster shows off the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse


With so much anticipation and excitement already building for the packed summer blockbuster season filled with comic book themed movies, 20th Century Fox and Marvel have released via Yahoo! (and Comic Book.com) a brand new poster for "X-Men: Apocalypse", which features the titular villainous mutant (played by Oscar Isaac) and his chosen "Four Horsemen" - namely Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), and Angel (Ben Hardy). How Professor  X (James McAvoy), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), and the rest of the team deal with the new threat to mutant and humankind is anyone's guess.

Batman v Superman: IMAX Poster and Final Trailer released


Just to remind everyone that one of the BIGGEST COMIC BOOK MOVIES OF ALL TIME hits in a month and a half from now, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have released a final KICK ASS trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as well as a new IMAX poster that sees an Armored Batman ready to take on Superman in what will certainly be one of the biggest fights in DC Films history ever.

The new trailer pretty much confirms one thing - BEN AFFLECK IS A SOLID LOOKING BATMAN AND BRUCE WAYNE. Here's to seeeing him, Henry Cavill's Superman, and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman doing justice to their roles, pun intended!

Captain America: Civil War: Marvel officially releases concept art "Civil War" pic


With so much excitement going on for what's coming in 2016 and beyond, Marvel has pulled up the curtain and officially released the first concept art for "Captain America: Civil War", which has appeared on Marvel.com and Comic Book.com in High Quality goodness. The artwork shows all of the players against one another, with Team Cap and Team Iron Man duking it out and making a stand for their respective sides.

Captain America: Civil War will be released on May 6, 2016.

Doctor Strange: Entertainment Weekly released first look at Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme!


Looking ahead to 2016 and giving the world a glimpse of something that's been in the cards for quite a while, Entertainment Weekly via their Facebook page has released the first look of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange! The film will be directed by Scott Derrickson, and is the second movie under "Phase Three" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe line-up of films!

Deadpool: "12 Days of Deadpool" and Season's Greeting's card released


Showing that there's no stopping this train of hilarity and insanity during the holiday season, the official Deadpool Facebook page and actor Ryan Reynolds are getting this "12 Days of Deadpool" viral marketing in full swing ion anticipation for next year's superhero flick of madness called "Deadpool"!


Check out the long "Season's Greetings" card the Merc with a Mouth wrote for his adoring fans. LOL.
