Top Gun: Maverick Comes Home on Digital August 23 and Home Media November 1

 


After quite the blockbuster run in theaters and absolutely kicking the afterburner nostalgia and hype with a sequel that’s 36 years in the making, Paramount Pictures has officially announced that “Top Gun: Maverick” is flying home to digital and home media pretty soon - with the digital release coming August 23 and then November 1st for home media in 4k Ultra HD and Blu-Ray!

The long awaited sequel, which features Tom Cruise reprising his role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell and teaching a mew generation of Top Gun pilots - is the highest grossing film of 2022 and of Cruise’s Hollywood career. It has earned $1.3 Billion in the global box office, and continues to play in some theaters around the world.

The Batman Arrives on HBO Max/ Digital on April 18 and Blu-Ray/ 4K UHD on May 24

 


Vengeance is officially coming home to digital and physical media just over a month after its theatrical release, as the critically acclaimed Batman reboot movie that is "The Batman" has been dated - coming to HBO Max and digital platforms starting April 18, and finally on DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K Ultra HD on May 24!

ICYMI: Batman: Death In The Family interactive movie hits this October


Taking a different spin in their next DC Showcase Animated offering,  Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment are set to release “Batman: Death In The Family” - based on the 1988 Batman storyline of the same name where Jason Todd is killed by The Joker. Unlike any of the other DC Universe Original Movies released - this will be an interactive experience where viewers can choose what happens to the characters - literally deciding Jason’s fate and seeing what awaits in the branching arcs that have consequences accompanying them.



To be released in Digital HD and Blu-Ray, Death In The Family will also feature the return of “Batman: Under The Red Hood” voice actors Bruce Greenwood, Vincent Martella, and John DiMaggio as the voices of Batman, Robin/ Jason Todd, and The Joker respectively - incorporating footage from that film as well as new scenes exclusive to this interactive movie. Spider-Man: Far From Home: 4K Ultra HD Box Art revealed by Best Buy


After more than a month since its release in theaters and earning over $1 Billion Dollars in the worldwide box office, fans are now turning their attention to the inevitable Digital and Home Video release for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' "Spider-Man: Far From Home" - the second stand alone film featuring Tom Holland's Peter Parker/ Spider-Man and the epilogue to "Phase 3" and "The Infinity Saga" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Courtesy of Best Buy, we get that first glimpse at what the various home video box art will look like - specifically the 4K Ultra HD Combo pack which includes the Blu-Ray and Digital versions as well. It's a fantastic piece that features all the major players of the film, including Spidey, MJ, Ned, Nick Fury, and Mysterio.

No release date has been given for Spider-Man: Far From Home yet, but expect it to be soon and this fall more or less.

ICYMI: Avengers: Endgame is now available digitally


If you haven't seen it live on your digital media and streaming services, Marvel Studios has officially released "Avengers: Endgame" on digital - giving fans the opportunity to once again watch the EPIC finale to a storyline 22 films in the making for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (with Spider-Man: Far From Home serving as the epilogue).

Avengers: Infinity War: Blu-Ray and Digital release dates revealed


Looks like fans of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Marvel Cinematic Universe won't have to wait too long to rewatch the film that was literally "10 years in the making" again at the comfort of their own homes, as Superherohype has reported that Marvel Studios has confirmed the release dates for the digital and home versions of "Avengers: Infinity War" - namely July 31 and August 14 for each respective format! Tweets for the Target and Best Buy home editions have also been revealed, which you can check out in the link above.

ICYMI: "Black Panther" comes to Digital and Home Video this May


As the world prepares to see Earth's Mightiest Heroes and their allies take on one Mad Titan, his army, and his quest for the Infinity Stones at the end of this month in "Avengers: Infinity War", Marvel Studios and Disney have announced details on the long awaited home video release of "Black Panther" - which finally has a confirmed release date of May 8 in Digital and May 15 in Blu-Ray!
