Batman: The Telltale Series gets a sequel in "Batman: The Enemy Within" this August

Batman Arkham City Update: The Riddler Trailer

Via Superherohype, MSN and Warner Bros. have released the latest trailer for the next Batman video game by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham City, which highlights one of the Dark Knight's deadliest and most persistent foes... The Riddler. Yes, ol' Edward Nygma is back to make the Caped Crusader's like even more interesting by providing new challenges and clues for him to find like in the previous game "Batman: Arkham Asylum", and this new trailer should give gamers a glimpse on what's in store for the sequel!

Batman: Arkham City Update: Riddler revealed as a top baddie!

Another somewhat big update has arrived for Batman: Arkham City, in the form of the revelation of another "big cheese" who returns from the previous game and is pulling the strings of our dear Caped Crusader, and it's none other than the master of riddles himself, Edward Nygma, aka The Riddler!

Via a post in Kotaku, it seems that Mr. Nygma will not only return to plague Batman with puzzles and riddles which he must solve, but he'll also be manipulating the Dark Knight in a manner similar to the Scarecrow, who by inducing Bats with his fear-toxin transported the hero to "nightmare worlds" that gave him more than just a simple trap to overcome. If the reports about the demo prove to be true, then the Riddler may just provide a greater challenge to Batman that's in the level of Dr. Jonathan Crane's alter ego. Given how interesting and irritating Mr. Nygma and his puzzles were in Batman: Arkham Asylum, I'll brace myself for the worst The Riddler has to offer in Arkham City. We'll just have to wait and see how his role gets expanded once the game comes out this October! For more info and additional reading on this, visit the source post at Kotaku!

Batman 3 Update: The Dark Knight Rises!

Finally, after months of news bits and minor updates, the next Christopher Nolan Bat-flick gets an official title!

According to movie news site Slash Film, Chris Nolan revealed in an interview with Hero Complex that the next Bat-flick would be titled "The Dark Knight Rises". Details have been so secretive that no one knew exactly what the next film's title was going to be, with "Shadow of the Bat" and "The Caped Crusader" among the list of guesses the fans made. Well, now that we have an official title, all that's left is to learn the official plot and who will be the big baddy Bruce Wayne's alter ego will face in the next sequel. Unfortunately, one rumor that can be debunked now is the appearance of The Riddler, whom Nolan says will NOT be in the film. Chris pointed out in the interview that he'll be using many of the same characters established in the last two movies, with some new ones being introduced in the new flick. That's kinda disappointing, especially since Inception actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt would have been perfect for the role in my honest opinion. His co-star however, Tom Hardy, was recently cast in the next Bat-flick, but he still hasn't been pegged a part, and more guessing games are going on with the fans concerning that mystery. Still, we'll probably find out more news soon enough now that a name has been given to Batman 3!

The Dark Knight Rises is slated for a July 20, 2012 release!

Batman 3 Update: Rumor Mill Amidst The SDCC!

Rumors are swirling abound as to what the next direction Christopher Nolan's 3rd Batman film will take? Will it have something to do with a riddle perhaps?

Heh, nice mock up poster, but this isn't official.

Enewsi just posted two interesting news bits that involve Warner Bros. and their "rumored" plans for the sequel to The Dark Knight. One goes with a domain purchase of "wheresbrucewayne.com", indicating plans are afoot to create another big viral marketing campaign to promote the movie like the previous film. The second rumor involves the villain to be for Batman 3, and hints strongly suggest that Edward Nygma will take on Bruce Wayne's alter ego, assuming his iconic and unstable persona as The Riddler. Having just starred in Chris Nolan's mind boggling sci-fi action flick Inception, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is rumored to be on the top of the list to play The Riddler. Right now, these repots are all unconfirmed and speculations at best. Let's pray some official news comes for the new bat-flick soon, hopefully even a tease at this week's San Diego Comic-Con!

Batman 3 Update: Riddle Me This: Joseph Gordon-Levitt As The Riddler?

Enewsi has just put up a post that Batman fans may find quite interesting. It appears that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is now one of the frontrunners to play the part of Edward Nygma, better known as the mind-boggling Bat-villain called The Riddler, in Christopher Nolan's next Bat-sequel following The Dark Knight! There's nothing confirmed yet, but this report isn't much of a surprise, since Gordon-Levitt is also starring in Nolan's newest flick this year, Inception!

Last played by comedian Jim Carrey in the 1995 Joel Schumacher directed Batman Forever, the character is obsessed with riddles and puzzle games, which lead to him jumpstarting a criminal career that is constantly thwarted by The Dark Knight and his allies. Being one of my favorite Batman villains, I'd really like to see Gordon-Levitt play the role, and he has what it takes, considering his performances as The Doctor/ Cobra Commander in G.I.Joe: The Rise Of Cobra and (500) Days Of Summer. He was also rumored to be one of the likely choices for David Webb's Spider-Man reboot, but I'd rather like to see this actor play out the role of Mr. Nygma instead! For more on this scoop, jump over to Enewsi through this link!

Batman 3 is slated for release on July 20, 2012!
