God of War Ragnarok New Gameplay Video Revealed by Game Informer

 

Hyping up the release of the highly anticipated sequel that continues Kratos and his son Atreus journey in the world of Norse mythology, Santa Monica Studio, PlayStation Studios, and Game Informer have released a new gameplay trailer for “God of War Ragnarok” - which shows off the combat as well as the new upgrades that can be made to the Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos.

After a number of delays and no word other than a promise that it will hit PlayStation consoles by the end of the year, Santa Monica Studio has officially revealed the release date for "God of War Ragnarok" - the long awaited sequel to 2018's "God of War" that brings Kratos and his son Atreus back for an adventure set three years after where they will try to prevent Ragnarok while also finding answers to Atreus' identity.

Here's a short but sweet trailer that showcases Father and Son fighting together while also revealing the release date for the game.

At long last, one of the most anticipated Playstation exclusives has a release date to its name. After being announced in 2014 and being officially teased with a gameplay demo at E3 2016, Santa Monica Studio and Sony Interactive Entertainment have officially announced that "God of War" for the Playstation 4 will be released this April - bringing the eight chronological installment of the franchise to light and acting as a soft reboot that sees a new and very different, much older Kratos guiding his son Atreus on a personal journey that will test both father and child with new challenges that will define them and their relationship with one another.

There's a lot to be said about video games, and it's a glorious feeling whenever there's news and trailers showcasing some things that definitely look exciting to play in the coming months ahead! Meet and Play as Kratos' Brother, Deimos, in God Of War III!

Leonidas?! Nah. This guy may look like Gearard Butler's character in 300, but he's actually the brother of God Of War's main protagonist, Kratos, and his name is Deimos!

According to Kotaku and the official Playstation Blog, Deimos will be a downloadable skin that can be used in God Of War III in the PS3, available to those who purchase early copies of the upcoming PSP title, God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta! Unlike his well-known brother, Deimos will sport "enhanced combat damage and the ability to receive 4x the amount of Health, Magic, and God Orbs. Sounds like a mighty incentive worthy of a true Spartan player, and good enough reason to replay God Of War III again!

Videogame blog site Kotaku just recently posted an article bearing good news, with Sony announcing that the first two God Of War games from the PS2 are coming to the PS3, better than ever and with trophy support to boot. That's right, Kratos' old adventures return for those not fortunate enough to have played the legendary action games that defined his existence in the Playstation community, and this will be a great chance to play catch up before God Of War III hits the PS3 on March next year.
