Danai Gurira will be departing "The Walking Dead" on Season 10
Fans of AMC's The Walking Dead best be prepared to say goodbye to another mainstay series regular, as The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Danai Gurira - who has played the badass sword wielding survivor Michonne - will be exiting the series come Season 10 of the critically acclaimed zombie drama series.
After debuting in Season 3 of the show and eventually becoming the love interest of Rick Grimes, Gurira has signed on to appear on a limited capacity in the show similar to her fellow co-star and Rick actor Andrew Lincoln - who recently left the series as a regular and will star in a trilogy of "Rick Grimes" movies for AMC. Vastly different from its comic book counterpart, The Walking Dead is now a show following the main thrust of the storyline of a group of survivors struggling to rebuild in a world dominated by the undead - yet now without Rick, Carl, and soon Michonne as well. Original character Daryl Dixon - played by Norman Reedus - serves as the new face of the ongoing series.
The Walking Dead resumes its ninth season this February 10th on AMC.

The Walking Dead: Season 8 "The Last Stand" key art poster released
Set to return in a month's time and bringing the grim reality and consequences of "All Out War" to its threshold, AMC has released the key art poster (via Superherohype) to the second half of the eight season of "The Walking Dead", featuring Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), and Michonne (Danai Gurira) front and center and making their "Last Stand" as they're ready to do battle against anything coming their way - be it the living dead or the forces of their sworn enemy, Negan. It's been a very tense and emotional confrontation between the allied forces led by Rick, Maggie, and King Ezekiel as well as Negan's Saviors, and both sides have lost people - including loved ones who matter to the remaining survivors.
The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 25th.

Of course, one of those things that people are anticipating and expecting is news and the first trailer for the upcoming fifth season of AMC's major hit zombie drama TV Series "The Walking Dead", which fans of the show are itching to get a taste of like the walkers that feature prominently in the show itself.

The Walking Dead: Season 4 banner and premiere episode title revealed
Those looking forward to the return of AMC's The Walking Dead, heads up (literally). In addition to announcing that a multi-day marathon of the first three seasons will air starting July 4th in the network, a new banner for the upcoming fourth season is finally online, teasing things to come and showing the four central characters of the show - namely Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Tyreese fighting hordes of the undead.
Additionally, Superherohype via a post by TVLine reports that the premiere episode for the season will be entitled "30 Days Without Incident", which will be helmed by the new showrunner of TWD, Scott M. Gimple. It's anyone's guess as to what will transpire during the gap between the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4, but it's a safe bet Rick and his group won't be getting any rest whatsoever from the undead masses. For more information, visit the source post at Superherohype.

The Walking Dead: The Origin of Michonne by Robert Kirkman in Playboy Magazine
By now, many of you have probably seen (or not) the Season 2 Finale of AMC's The Walking Dead, which wrapped up things nicely despite some mixed reactions and comments by the fanbase over the season's pacing. With Frank Darabont no longer in as showrunner, responsibilities fell over to the other executive producers, among them Glen Mazzara, Greg Nicotero, and The Walking Dead creator himself, Robert Kirkman. Despite losing Darabont, they've remained true to keeping his vision alive and the series a certified hit among fans and viewers alike. With Season 3 due to come this October, everyone is already geared for two things: The Prison arc and the introduction of The Walking Dead comic book character and samurai sworld wielding chick Michonne to Television! She made a small cameo appearance in the finale, and to tie-in to that, Playboy and The Walking Dead comics' creators have teamed up to tell her origin in 6 pages!
Those who don't know who Michonne is, best stay away as there will be SPOILERS in the next few pages, which serves as her origin story for her comic book iteration (who first appeared in Isuue #19, which is now selling for $1850 according to Bleeding Cool)! Released in this month's Playboy magazine. "Michonne's Story" is done by the creators of the comic themselves: written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Charlie Adlard! Anyone who's a fan of TWD better not miss this, so check it out after the jump... but consider this a SPOILER ALERT and read at your own risk!
