Norman Reedus shares an alternate fate for Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead Season 7

 


The Walking Dead is now on its eleventh and final season, which is set to return this coming February to finish off the second half of episodes. Norman Reedus, who plays main character and survivor Daryl Dixon in the series, has shared a little behind-the-scenes photo of what could have gone down in the series had things turned out differently - he would have gotten a prosthetic arm because he punched Negan and that would have been due to Rick Grimes being forced to cut it off by the leader of the Saviours.

Even though Season 10 has already technically wrapped up, AMC is still not quite done with bringing in new episodes for "The Walking Dead" before they officially go on to the new season - and to that end they have released a trailer for the first of six new bonus episodes that will be coming - beginning this February 28. The Walking Dead: Opening minutes of Post-Rick Grimes episode "Who Are You Now?" released


A new era begins in this coming new episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead", as the remaining members of Rick Grimes' group - his closest confidents and allies - try to move on and get on with their lives. As it is, the show has progressed to a "Time Skip" that takes place six years following Rick's "death", and the first few minutes of the new episode "Who Are You Now?" have come online - showing Daryl, Michonne, and Carol living on.

The Walking Dead: Season 8 "The Last Stand" key art poster released


Set to return in a month's time and bringing the grim reality and consequences of "All Out War" to its threshold, AMC has released the key art poster (via Superherohype) to the second half of the eight season of "The Walking Dead", featuring Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), and Michonne (Danai Gurira) front and center and making their "Last Stand" as they're ready to do battle against anything coming their way - be it the living dead or the forces of their sworn enemy, Negan. It's been a very tense and emotional confrontation between the allied forces led by Rick, Maggie, and King Ezekiel as well as Negan's Saviors, and both sides have lost people - including loved ones who matter to the remaining survivors.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 25th.

The Walking Dead: First Sneak Peek footage of Season 7 released


It's still about two months to go before we find out who actually falls to Negan's bat Lucille in the beginning of the seventh season of AMC's "The Walking Dead", but the network has decided to give fans another sneak peek of what comes after that fateful scenario - as a scene has been released that features Dwight searching for something down the road... And wearing a familiar Redneck's jacket at the same time.

The Walking Dead: Season 6 spotlighted in latest EW magazine




Arriving in shops soon and getting an exclusive sneak peek online first, the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly spotlights none other than the upcoming sixth season of The Walking Dead, which sees Rick Grimes and his group taking over and training the Alexandria Safe Zone residents, with tensions building up and the return of Rick's old ally Morgan Jones as well.

On the cover seen from the official Facebook page of EW is Rick, Carol, and Daryl front and center, with other behind the scenes photos released in EW's official website as well.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC and international channels starting October 11.

The Walking Dead: Mid-Season 5 Character Posters premiere online


Set to return in just about a week and resuming the journey of Rick Grimes and his band of survivors to search for a safe haven to live in, AMC has released some new character posters for their critically acclaimed zombie drama TV series baed on Robert Kirkman's comic book series of the same name, The Walking Dead.




On top is a character poster of the head man and "officer friendly" himself Rick Grimes, and the others including Daryl Dixon and Michonne. More can be seen as well via Spoiler TV, which has compiled the rest of the cast of the show that uses whatever they can to stay alive and survive as a group.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 8.

The Walking Dead: Season 5 mid-season return poster online


Prepped up and ready to continue the story of Rick Grimes and his band of survivors as they search for a safe haven, AMC has released a brand new "mid-season return" poster for their popular zombie drama TV series, The Walking Dead.

Debuting on the show's official Facebook page, the poster sees Rick, Daryl Dixon, and the rest of their crew travelling through a devastated village, with the map Abraham Ford left rick in the front and reading "The new world's gonna need Rick Grimes", foreshadowing the importance of "Officer Friendly" for the rest of the season.

The Walking Dead returns on February 8 on AMC.

GamesCom 2014: Hideo Kojima teams w/ Guillermo Del Toro for Silent Hills w/ Norman Reedus; Metal Gear Solid V comes to PC

Konami is on a roll for Gamescom 2014, and it's all thanks to Hideo Kojima.



In addition to the man himself appearing and "teasing" more of his upcoming epic that is Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with "a demonstration" of the new abilities of the Cardboard Box, the acclaimed video game developer and leader of Kojima Productions has also confirmed his involvement in a new Silent Hill game called "Silent Hills", which he'll be working on together with "Pacific Rim" and "Hellboy" director Guillermo Del Toro, with "The Walking Dead" and Daryl Dixon actor himself Norman Reedus set to star in it! As reported in Kotaku, That "P.T" announcement that was shown in the Sony Playstation Conference was pretty much the new Silent Hill's teaser, so Kojima has surprised us once again with goodness to come.

Also, Kotaku has put up a report that pretty much confirms that Metal Gear Solid V as a whole is coming to PC and Steam



As for a release date for these titles, that has yet to be confirmed... For now.

The Walking Dead: Season 5 Banner Poster released

San Diego Comic-Con week is here, and there's plenty of things to be excited about in the world of popculture and hobbies. Of course, one of those things that people are anticipating and expecting is news and the first trailer for the upcoming fifth season of AMC's major hit zombie drama TV Series "The Walking Dead", which fans of the show are itching to get a taste of like the walkers that feature prominently in the show itself.


And along with this week's hype comes a newly revealed banner poster, featuring most of the primary and surviving cast of characters of the series thus far. After the end of Season 4, Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Carl Grimes, Michonne, and the others were taken prisoner by the mysterious group of people residing in "Terminus" - a so-called sanctuary that is more than what it seems. With the ever present threat of walkers still around and people who are more dangerous when they are desperate to survive, Rick's group will have to find a way out of their predicament and see if they can pick up the pieces after everything they've been through.

The Walking Dead: Two behind-the-scenes videos for Season 5 released


With San Diego Comic-Con 2014 just around the corner and a new trailer likely to be released to promote Season 5 this year, AMC has gone ahead and released some juicy "Behind-The-Scenes" videos for the next chapter in their highly successful zombie TV Series "The Walking Dead".

The Walking Dead: A Look Ahead with the cast and crew at the rest of Season 4


Coming back in a about two weeks time and resuming where things left off, AMC has released a brand new video that looks ahead at what the fans, cast, and crew of The Walking Dead can expect once Season 4 comes back on February.

The Walking Dead: Norman Reedus, aka Daryl Dixon, gets "Zombie Pranked" by fan and TWD crew



It's still a few weeks left until AMC resumes programming with the second half of the fourth season of their popular zombie series "The Walking Dead", but much promotion and dedication from the cast and crew behind the show has been ongoing. In fact, the TWD team recently travelled to Tokyo, Japan for a special promo tour to spread awareness for the oncoming new batch of episodes in the international market, and that includes stars Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus on the entourage, better known by their onscreen personas of Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon.


Now during a media promotion segment with Reedus, he gets a BIG WALKER SURPRISE in the form of a fan named Nick Santonastasso, a 17-year kid with a rare condition called "Hanhart" where he has only one arm and no legs. That doesn't deter the young fan however, who dresses up as a zombie and gets his chance to prank one of his idols in The Walking Dead, courtesy of Andrew "Rick Grimes" Lincoln and Executive Producer and zombie make-up artist Greg Nicotero!

The Walking Dead: Season 4 EW covers; Glenn & Maggie; and Bob Stookey images online


As the San Diego Comic Con officially kicks off in the US with "Preview Night", more juicy material on the popculture spectrum continue to pop up online, including stuff from AMC's hotly anticipated new season of "The Walking Dead"! 

With the trailer to the 4th season slated to premiere at SDCC this Friday, the good folks of Entertainment Weekly saw it fit to release their latest issue, with not just one cover featuring protagonist Rick Grimes, but two others as well that feature his son Carl Grimes and fan favorite original character in the TV Series, the redneck crossbow wieldon' Daryl Dixon! What's more, new images appear as well, featuring zombie killing couple Glenn Rhee and Maggie Greene, as well as the new guy Bob Stookey.

The Walking Dead: Season 4 banner and premiere episode title revealed


Those looking forward to the return of AMC's The Walking Dead, heads up (literally). In addition to announcing that a multi-day marathon of the first three seasons will air starting July 4th in the network, a new banner for the upcoming fourth season is finally online, teasing things to come and showing the four central characters of the show - namely Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Tyreese fighting hordes of the undead.

Additionally, Superherohype via a post by TVLine reports that the premiere episode for the season will be entitled "30 Days Without Incident", which will be helmed by the new showrunner of TWD, Scott M. Gimple. It's anyone's guess as to what will transpire during the gap between the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4, but it's a safe bet Rick and his group won't be getting any rest whatsoever from the undead masses. Sneak Peek of The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 3: "Save The Last One"


The last episode of AMC's The Walking Dead ended in quite the cliffhanger way: Shane and Otis find themselves in a very precarious situation after finding supplies in the High School necessary to save Carl's life, while Rick and Lori stand by helplessly in Hershel's Farm, desperately hoping and praying that the men will return and that their son will pull through.
