Batman Inc. #13 preview online
Coming out this week in comic book stores worldwide, the epic conclusion to Grant Morrison's acclaimed run on Batman reportedly meets a controversial end with the release of this month's Batman Incorporated #13, which sees the final showdown between Batman and his on and off love interest and enemy, Talia al Ghul, aka Leviathan!
Via The New York Post, here's a preview to the last issue of the 2nd volume of the series that began with The New 52 Universe in 2011, and brought about an emotional rollercoaster ride for Bruce Wayne and his army of Batmen.
DC Comics' Batman Inc. #13 goes on sale starting July 31.

DC Comics: Damian Wayne returns in "Damian: Son of Batman" this October
Looks like a certain fan favorite "Boy Wonder" who recently bought the farm will be making his return to the DC Comics Universe... Well, somewhat at least.
Announced in The New York Post, Batman/ Bruce Wayne's son Damian Wayne will be returning in the pages of a four issue miniseries this October entitled "Damian: Son of Batman". The new title, written and illustrated by the character's co-creator Andy Kubert, will serve as a continuation of the future Gotham stories where an older Damian eventually becomes the new Batman following his father's passing.
However, this storyline is just a "potential future", and is not confirmed to hit the current DC Universe timeline that is The New 52 unless stated otherwise. Those getting their hopes up since the character's tragic passing on the pages of Batman Incorporated Vol. 2 #8 best reserve their excitement regular continuity wise... But take heart that the son of the Bat and last Robin is coming back in some form or way. For more information, visit the source post at The New York Post.

Batman Inc. ends w/ "Batman Incorporated Special #1" in August
July the conclusion to the epic Batman Incorporated series by writer Grant Morrison with issue #13, but DC Comics plans to end things big the following month by releasing a special one-shot issue that'll be handled by some of the best the company has to offer!
Via Bleeding Cool, IGN has an exclusive look at the cover to "Batman incorporated Special #1", which has the pooled creative talents of regular Batman Inc. artist Chris Burnham, Dan DiDio, Ethan Van Sciver, Joe Kintage, and much more. With the cover acting as a tribute to both the "Superfriends" and Batman's global crimefighting taskforce, the plan is to end Batman Inc. w/ a bang, and Chris Burnham also talks with IGN about stepping up as writer for this month's Batman #11, where he pens while Jorge Lucas illustrates. For more on the announcement and details on the one-shot, visit the source posts at Bleeding Cool and IGN.
Batman Incorporated Special #1 will be released on August 28.

SPOILER ALERT: Batman Inc. #8 cover hits online early
As a big Batman fan and collector, I enjoy Grant Morrison's run on The Caped Crusader and his new direction on the fight against crime with "Batman Incorporated". Not only does Bruce Wayne expand his reach against the cowardly and superstitious worldwide, but the rest of his Bat-Family and allies across the globe get exposure. The first volume of Batman Inc. during the Pre-New 52 era of DC Comics gave us a good look at how expansive that reach was... Now Volume 2 has sank danger's teeth into the core of Batman and his team... With big repercussions to boot.
That being said, next week's release of Batman Inc. #8 is said to have great ramifications for a certain mainstay Batcharacter and a fan favorite. It's pretty much a solid guess who it was going to be... But surprises could be in store for readers especially after what went down with this week's Batman #17 and the conclusion of the Joker centered storyline "Death of the Family". Now, the same guy who spoiled Marvel's "The Amazing Spider-Man #700" does it again with Batman Inc. #8. BE WARNED. THIS IS HEAVY SPOILER MATERIAL, so look at your own risk.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

NYCC 2010: DC prepares to get Batman Incorporated!
It may be the week of the New York Comic Con, but it's also the beginning of "The Road Home" for a certain Bruce Wayne, as it's already understood that he's finally made his return to the present after his time-traveling adventures. As a result, DC gears up and has released via The Source several posters of paving the way for "Batman: Incorporated", which will see Bruce Wayne AND Dick Grayson don the mantle of the bat and have the former travel the world to establish a global network of Batmen! Yes, it's on and it's now, and aside from the poster for "Batman: Dark Knight" you see above, here are the other new titles to expect from the new world of Batman!
