DC Comics preview: Damian: Son of Batman #1
He may have bought the farm in current DC "New 52" continuity, but Damian Wayne is far from forgotten, and the character's co-creator Andy Kubert is prepared to tell a possible future tale in which the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul returns and explains how he took up the mantle of the Bat in the new upcoming miniseries this month "Damian: Son Of Batman".
As seen in the seminal issue that is "Batman #666", Damian eventually becomes the new Dark Knight of a now anarchic Gotham City, having an uneasy alliance with the GCPD and Commissioner Barbara Gordon, and struggling to live up to his father's legacy while dishing out his own brand of justice. The preview of the first issue of the new miniseries that is written and drawn by Kubert tells the tale of how a inevitable tragedy eventually leads to rebirth, and the steps Damian must make in his destiny to become the new Batman.

DC The New 52 Preview: Detective Comics #1
With the new wave of "New 52" #1 issues by DC Comics coming this week, USA Today and Bleeding Cool have provided fans with a 6 page preview of the all-new Detective Comics #1, written and illustrated by regular Batman writer and artist Tony S. Daniel! As the flagship title of the publication, this is the first time in DC Comics' history that Batman will headline the first issue of a relaunched Detective Comics title, since the character originally appeared in 1939's Detective Comics #27!
In this series, Daniel will emphasize Batman's detective skills. As the title implies, it's all about investigation and detecting, traits that make Batman the best at what he does. Besides concentrating on his early adventures, the Dark Knight will go toe-to-toe with not just his legendary arch-nemesis The Joker, but a new villain created by the writer/ artist for the series - the mysterious Dollmaker.
Go to USA Today and/ or Bleeding Cool now to check out this preview and get more info!

Speed and Fun returns with Sonic The Hedgehog 4!
Finally, after months of waiting, the WAY PAST COOL HEDGEHOG IS BACK!!!

That's right! Sonic is back and doing his adventures the right and old school way in Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode I! It's a downloadable game that's just been released for the iPhone, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3, and all I can say is it's downright fun! It plays like my favorite classic Sonic games from the Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive days, and all I can say is I'm glad SEGA and Sonic Team decided to go back to this tried and true formula, adding only a pinch of 3D graphics to make this game look pretty and dashing in HD! Speeding through zones, saving roboticized friends, and crushing Dr. Eggman/ Robotnik never felt good to play and see again! Here's a stage I loved playing through early in the game - Splash Hill Zone: Act 3!

Now THIS is the Sonic I remember! Hehe, as you notice, this is just a reaction post and my excitement rolling here. Check back for the review sometime soon!

Things Don't Look Good In Batman #705...
...and I mean that with a definite emphasis on "Not Good". Tony Daniels is going to take Dick Grayson for a wild ride when he gets back to the double duty writing/ drawing gig, and as seen in The Source, here's a look at the cover to issue #705, which puts the new "Dark Knight" in a very delicate situation.
Even with two Batmen on the scene, things are going to get real tough for Dick and his comrades as the adventure continues. Batman #705 ships on November.
