By the end of DC Comics' event called "Convergence", the publisher will be bringing some brand new changes to its comic book universe that involves some 24 new titles being introduced... As well as the fact that the "New 52" label will be gone and no longer carried by their titles.

Announcing their plans and books for June 2015, DC Entertainment is bringing back 25 of their current books, which include Batman, Superman, Justice League, and Wonder Woman. DC Comics announces "Convergence" as April - May 2015 event

Finally, DC Comics has revealed their grand plans for this coming April 2015... And it involves not just one universe or two, but a multiverse that will converge cities that have been trapped and take from multiple worlds that are dying... And it's all through the work and machinations of the alien villain known as Brainiac.

This story is called "Convergence", and is a crossover that will run from April - May next year, which will have an eight issue main miniseries in addition to a 40 two-part weekly series. Besides Brainiac, a new villain will be introduced by the name of Telos, whose origins are still shrouded in complete mystery. Happening on the year of the 30th Anniversary of Crisis On Infinite Earths, Convergence will follow the wrap-up of the currently ongoing Future's End weekly series, starting with an issue #0 that will be written by Jeff King and Dan Jurgens, with illustrations by Green Lantern: Rebirth artist Ethan Van Sciver.

Batman Eternal will return for a new "Year 2" batch of weekly comics in 2015

The weekly series that's changing everything in Batman's world is already through its halfway mark... But that doesn't mean that it's going to end anytime soon either, as current writer and Batman scribe Scott Snyder has confirmed that Batman Eternal will return for a second year of week after week comic releases!

Confirming the news via Reddit, Snyder pointed out that more things are in store for The Dark Knight and his world with a "Year 2" for Eternal, which picks up two months after a break that follows the conclusion of the first year in March. A two month hiatus and gap will commence, which will probably pave the way for DC's big crossover event plans for 2015. What that is has yet to be announced, but more on this story can be read via the source post at Newsarama.

Even after Batman's 75th Anniversary ends this year, Batman Eternal and the new storyline "Endgame" in the pages of Batman will go on in 2015.

Batman and Robin: Future's End #1 preview introduces a possible new Boy Wonder...

Looks like we have a new Boy Wonder added to the Bat-Family... Or a possible one in a possible future at least.

In the official preview to this September 17's Batman and Robin: Future's End #1 one-shot issue, Batman: Zero Year character Duke Thomas, who assisted a newly emerged Bruce Wayne as Batman during that storyline, has become the new kid on the block to assume the sidekick mantle worn by the likes of Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and the late Damian Wayne. In this possible future, he and Batman work together to fight crime, but in this story by Ray Fawkes and Dustin Nguyen, things may escalate to dangerous territory, as familiar enemies appear to challenge the Dark Knight and open old wounds of the past he must find closure to.

Check out the entire preview to the issue, courtesy of Newsarama and IGN.

Batman: Greg Capullo teases Batman: Endgame with a pencilled image

Batman with a gun. Harper Row as Bluebird. And... A masked vigilante that could be the new Nightwing?

These are some of the speculations to come straight out of a pencilled image that artist Greg Capullo tweeted from his official Twitter page, which was featured in Newsarama and is obviously a tease for his and writer Scott Snyder's next big epic Batman story for The New 52 - Batman: Endgame. That begins with issue #35 next month, and as Snyder teased in a video with DC All Access.

Seeing Batman using a firearm may be a big surprise to most since he has the "No Kill" rule, but it certainly is not unheard of. In the early days of Bill Finger and Bob Kane's run with the Caped Crusader, he used guns. Also, it could be a modified stun weapon similar to what an aged Bats used against Superman in Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Seeing Harper Row in action with Batman is not a surprise since this storyline is supposed to take place after the events of Batman: Eternal... But the new kid to the left of The Caped Crusader is a mystery that needs solving. Could it be Dick Grayson back in a costumed identity, or is it Harper's brother joining the fight?

We'll find out soon enough when Batman #35 begins "Endgame".

Batman: Scott Snyder describes his "Craziest Story Yet" for The Caped Crusader post-Zero Year

It's been a WILD RIDE retelling the origins of one of the world's most recognizable superheroes, but writer  Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo did it with Batman and the mega-hit storyline "Zero Year", modernizing The Dark Knight and making his beginnings as contemporary and more immersive as they come.

But things aren't quite done for Snyder... He has BIG AND CRAZY THINGS in store for The Caped Crusader next, and that comes with his next saga with Capullo called "Endgame". A brief hiatus of sorts takes place this month with Batman #34, but Endgame begins in the next issue in Batman #35, and draw out quite the "blockbuster of epic proportions" as Snyder teases to DC All Access in this new video interview with the hot talent and writer for the main Bat book for The New 52 DC Universe.

Scott Snyder's Craziest Batman Story Yet

We're teased alright... What's going to happen next? Only Snyder and co. know for sure.

DC Comics: Gotham By Midnight ongoing series announced

Gotham City may be protected by The Batman from the criminals and supervillains, but there is more afloat beyond the normal that The Dark Knight can only take so much of, and that's why Jim Corrigan is here to take over matters of the Supernatural.

As announced by DC Comics on Blastr and featured by Newsarama, a new ongoing Batman-related series for The New 52 is beginning this November, and it's called "Gotham By Midnight". Spinning off the currently ongoing events of Batman Eternal, Gotham PD's own Jim Corrigan and his alter ego The Spectre will team up with a bunch of other spirit-hunting beings to take on THE "Gotham Underworld", which manifests itself beyond the shadows of the city's gaze. The series will be written Ray Fawkes (who's one of the main writers for Eternal), and will be joined by 30 Days of Night artist extraordinaire Ben Templesmith.

So much like Constantine and Justice League Dark, another supernatural DC Comics title will rise. Gotham By Midnight begins its ongoing run on November 26, 2014.

DC The New 52: Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo prepare for Batman "Endgame" on October

Looks like Big things are really coming down this October for DC Comics "New 52" universe, and a certain Caped Crusader isn't exempt from that either, as the acclaimed "Batman" creative team of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo prepare for their next big story arc which will undoubtedly bring more impactful changes to the world of The Dark Knight, and just right smack in the middle of his 75th Anniversary celebration.

Coming straight from the October 2014 solicitations featured in Newsarama, Snyder and Capullo will unleash "Endgame" starting on Batman #35, which brings The Caped Crusader back to the present after the year long prequel storyline that was "Zero Year" which will conclude this July 23 (which happens to be Batman Day as well worldwide). No details have been given as to what "Endgame" will entail, save that it will be the "biggest, deadliest, and most epic storyline" for Bruce Wayne and his winged avenging alter ego yet.

Endgame begins with Batman #35 on October 8. Stay tuned for more details as it comes.

DC The New 52: Green Lantern and New Gods "Godhead" event slated for October

It looks like there'll be no rest for the books involved in the Green Lantern universe, as not only do October solicitations for DC Comics reveal a new event is coming, but it will also involve the powerful New Gods and their almighty leader Highfather, who plan to tap into the emotional spectrum one way or another to take out Darkseid.

As revealed in The Nerdist and Comic Book.com, the new crossover series entitled "Godhead", a month long series that sees the entire Lantern Universe and the New Gods battling it out as Highfather seeks to get his hands on the seven rings of emotion to tap into the mysteries of the Source Wall and somehow use it to defeat his evil "brother" and lord of Apokolips himself, Darkseid. How this will affect the entire DC Universe in The New 52 is anyone's guess, but consequential is a start for sure!

DC The New 52: Batgirl gets a new costume and creative team this October

October is looking to spark many changes in the world of DC Comics, and after news that Selina Kyle will sport a new look and creative team beginning with Catwoman #35, the one and only Barbara Gordon looks to follow suit as a new team steps in to introduce a "Version 2.0" for the female member of the Bat Family starting in that month's Batgirl #35.

In a report by MTV News and reported by Bleeding Cool as well, current and longtime Batgirl and Birds of Prey writer Gail Simone is apparently stepping down from her role as the main writer. After the brief time she was removed and then reinstated thanks to the voices of fans worldwide, it seems that DC is ready to take new people to tackle the former Oracle - with Cameron Stewart and Blender Fletcher handling writing duties while Babs Tarr handles art duties.

And with the creative change comes a shift in focus for Barbara and a new direction - She moves to the Buroughs for graduate school, and she seemingly is going to get a new costume as well - which looks more hipster and less spandex oriented. These alterations come with what happens in the story, and whether these changes bode well or not, it's a new start for Babs more or less in the New 52 Universe of DC Comics, as well as coming during the 75th Anniversary of her mentor and inspiration, The Batman. Straight out of the previews for the October 2014 solicitations for DC Comics, the ongoing adventures of Selina Kyle in her very own "Catwoman" series for The New 52 universe takes a new direction, with the feline femme fatale becoming the new Kingpin of Gotham City as seen in the "Sneak Peek" one shot issue of Batman #28.

Beginning in Catwoman #35, the new creative team of Genevieve Valentine and Garry Brown will take over the title, showing how Selina slips into her new "Mob Boss" persona and dictates a new status quo that will affect her relationship with Batman, her allies, and the entire city of Gotham.

DC Comics: Spoiler's "New 52" look revealed in cover to Batman Eternal #22

Since it began last April, Batman Eternal has easily become one of the most intriguing if not best collaborations of talents DC Comics has put together to build a weekly ongoing series that focuses on The Dark Knight and his world today. With so much plot arcs and storylines going on, it's a wonder how things will come to a head when all is said and done... And how exactly will the repercussions impact the Caped Crusader's legacy, especially since it's his 75th Anniversary this year.

Of course, one of the main highlights is the reintroduction of Stephanie Brown... Aka The Spoiler, who has been absent from the Batbooks since the beginning of The New 52. With the DC Universe rebooted and her history and slate of being a Robin and Batgirl wiped clean, Steph's back to square one, and after appearing in a special "time skip" sneak peek issue in Batman #28 that gave readers a glimpse into the future of the Batverse, the last page showed Stephanie revealed and captured, with her costume on but sans mask.

Now, thanks to DC's full September Solicitations, we have a FULL LOOK at Steph's new costume as Spoiler, in the cover to Batman Eternal #22!

And while the cover is impressive (and courtesy of CBR and Comic Book.com), there'll be more for The Spoiler to do come issue #24, when she faces her own criminal father, The Cluemaster!

Batman Eternal is currently ongoing and is weekly!

The Flash: Meet your New 52 Wally West... In costume

More of the covers for the September 2014 solicitations for DC Comics titles have gone up online, and one of them reveals for the very first time The New 52 version of Wally West... In full costume!

As part of the new "Future's End" crossover event that sees events within the new DC Universe seeing drastic changes and Batman Beyond coming from the future to change the wrongs of the past, this is just one of the many new reveling covers that shows something fans have been longing for... Wally back and with speed powers anew, though sporting a new costume that is... Different alright.

However, this is a new version of the former Pre-New 52 DC Legacy hero, now an African-American teenager bearing some ties to the Scarlet Speedster's pseudo-love interest, Iris West. Since his official debut in The Flash #30 and his full origin told in The Flash Annual #3, he hasn't exhibited powers... YET. That may all soon change once the months build up to the issue where his new costume s revealed.

Honestly, I still miss the old classic duds... And Wally in Pre-New 52 time.

BIG CHANGES are happening for Richard "Dick" Grayson, and he's getting the "Secret Agent" treatment in the upcoming "Grayson" comic book series, to be done by the creative team of Tim Seeley of Revival fame and former CIA operative Tom King.

However, he still maintained ties with the Bat-Family, and even took over as The Dark Knight for a time following Bruce Wayne's supposed death. Now it seems that Dick has to adopt a new role following the result of his identity being exposed in Forever Evil by the Crime Syndicate... And whatever happens as a result of the end of that main event storyline by DC Comics. Only time will tell for certain what follows afterwards. For more on the story, visit the source post at USA Today.
