The Batman: Funeral Scene Clip Released Online

 


Prepping up for its release in cinemas in just over a month's time, Warner Bros. and DC Films have released the first official clip from Matt Reeves' "The Batman" - specifically a "Funeral Scene" that shows Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne and Jeffrey Wright's Jim Gordon as they deal with the latest twisted message The Riddler delivers to the Caped Crusader.

The Batman will be released in theaters this coming March.

Justice League: Seven preview clips surface online *SPOILERS*


With just ONE WEEK to go until it hits theaters, Warner Bros. and DC Films are promoting their upcoming superhero team up film "Justice League" in high gear - including the release of seven clips from the film that showcase some pivotal action scenes and dialogue between the characters in the movie. Naturally, it contains possible SPOILERS so view at your own risk!

Also, the scene between Batman, Commissioner Gordon, and the League contains the Danny Elfman score - which features the return of his 1989 Batman theme!

Justice League: Zack Snyder reveals the first look at J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon!


Giving fans of both a certain Dark Knight and the DC Extended Universe something to be excited about for Batman Day, director Zack Snyder has revealed via Twitter one of the most awaited reveals for his upcoming "Justice League" movie next year - the very FIRST LOOK of Academy Award winning actor J.K. Simmons as Batman's closest ally and confidant - Commissioner Jim Gordon!

As you can see in the image above, Gordon stands on what is presumably the Gotham City Police Department rooftop, with the Bat Signal on and shining for his vigilante ally to respond to and meet any threats that dare oppose the forces of Justice!


Besides Snyder also posting a photo with him standing beside the now iconic Bat Signal that first appeared with Ben Affleck's Batman in this year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this is the second reveal this week following the "Tactical Batsuit" tweet the director made a few days ago that announced the wrapping up of filming for Batman scenes in the JL Movie. Only time will tell for sure when we'll be seeing more teases as the countdown to the film's release next year continues.

Justice League will be released in theaters on November 17, 2017!

Batman: DC March 2016 Solicitations see Bruce Wayne back in Batman #50


Looks like the original, read deal Bats is FINALLY coming back in time for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year, as the latest March 2016 DC Comics solicitations reveal that in Batman #50, Bruce Wayne will don the cape and cowl once again to help the current new Batman, Jim Gordon, in a fight to save Gotham City from the diabolical Mr. Bloom.

Gotham: Season 2 officially confirmed


Straight from the show's official Facebook page and making the announcement at the Television Critics Association press tour in California, FOX, Warner Bros., and DC Entertainment are renewing their pre-Batman TV Series "Gotham", which explores the origins of a younger Gotham City and its inhabitants before it became the way it was.

Gotham airs every Mondays on FOX.

Batman's always around when you need him, and there's plenty of news related to the Dark Knight that's both exciting and much anticipated for fans of the DC Comics superhero and character. Despite not getting a new film appearance until Ben Affleck suits up for the yet untitled "Batman Vs Superman" movie, there's tons of new stuff to expect related to the Caped Crusader or his world - including more new audition screenshots from the newly released "The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector's Edition", A new upcoming "Gotham" TV Series focusing on a young James Gordon, and finally some PS3 exclusive "Knightfall" content from the upcoming video game "Batman: Arkham Origins".

The Dark Knight Rises: First Clip from the movie goes online


Premiering at this week's episode of The Jimmy Kimmel show, the very first clip from The Dark Knight Rises finally goes online, and features a conversation between Gotham Police Department officer John Blake and Commissioner Gordon (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman, respectively). Christopher Nolan's much anticipated conclusion to the Dark Knight saga premieres in theaters worldwide next week, and sees what happens to Batman eight years after the events of 2008's The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight Rises: New pictures and plot details surface!


After the unveiling of their newest issue featuring Christian Bale as Batman in the cover, Entertainment Weekly has released brand new photos and details online on Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan's final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises! Via Batman-News.com and EW itself, new pics have appeared giving fans a sneak peek of what's to come later this year. Above is a very nice shot of Bale as Bruce Wayne, standing beside his Batsuit as he contemplates his next move against his new adversary - Bane (played by Tom Hardy).
