With E3 2013 just around the corner and loads of new games coming along the way, Namco Bandai Games and Katsuhiro Harada have announced a special exclusive for Tekken fans and Playstation 3 owners that'll be coming out later this week. Introducing - Tekken Revolution.

Via iPlaywinner and RajmangamingHD's YouTube page, Namco Bandai has released the official opening cinematic trailer to the much anticipated console release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has finally made its way online. TTT2 gets updated to Tekken Unlimited Tag Tournament 2

In a move that's sure to get Tekken fans burning up with excitement, Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada has tweeted and unveiled photos from the Japan AOU Amusement Show 2012 of the newest upgrade to the current Tekken game "Tekken Tag Tournmanent 2". Billed as "Tekken Unlimited Tag Tournament 2", the changes to the engine are just more than simply addressing balancing issues and tweaking the game aesthetically.

TUTT2 adds the option of playing TAG or SOLO, meaning you can take the brawl either way you like, through teamwork, old fashioned 1-on-1 beat 'em up, or a SOLO player going up against a TAG player, making the fight 1 Vs 2! With the current build of Tag 2 still making waves in arcades, and Street Fighter X Tekken seeing release in consoles next month, this is sure to please fans around the world once it hits, and justifies the delays for the console version!

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Update: Jun Kazama Officially Unveiled!

After posting that teaser video of Devil Kazuya in action via his Twitter, Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada has done another big announcement once again, and has released screenshots that officially reveal longtime absent and now returning Tekken fighter Jun Kazama in action!

As many know, Jun is the mother of current Tekken protagonist Jin Kazama, and she makes a special return in the non-canon entry that is Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Her comeback was teased in the recent AOU 2011 TTT2 Trailer, and now these pics from Harada make everything official. What could possibly lead to her return in this game... with a new outfit no less? We'll find out sooner or later when the game gets released this summer!

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Update: Devil Kazuya Revealed!

It seems like Tekken Series Producer Katsuhiro Harada spilled very big beans for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in his official Twitter account, as he officially revealed the ability for players using Kazuya Mishima to transform into his alter ego, Devil (or a partial transformation at least), during a match in the game!

It seems that Kazuya has to be paired with Devil Jin in order for this trick to work, but anyone who's familiar with the Tekken series should know that it makes perfect sense, especially with dark background of the Devil Gene and tragic history of the Mishima Bloodline. It all started when Kazuya Mishima, having been abused and beaten by his father Heihachi, sought to gain the strength and power to defeat his dad by any means necessary. To this end, he literally made a deal with the Devil, and henceforth had evil power flowing in his veins... even passing on to his son, Jin Kazama, who becomes Devil Jin. The curse of the Devil Gene remained uncontrollable to the Mishima/ Kazama afflicted with it, but since Tekken 4, Kazuya was able to reconcile both halves AND gain access to that part of his power. Now we see that controlled aspect of his power in TTT2... but will it prove to be an advantage or a hindrance? Time will tell for sure when the game gets released in arcades this summer!

Unveiled yesterday to the world, Katsuhiro Harada and the rest of the Tekken team over at Bandai Namco have unveiled the new AOU 2011 trailer for Tekken Tag Tournament 2! It's in Japanese, but the action and character footage speak volumes already! You get to see more of the 40 characters promised to be in the game, including new lady wrestler Jaycee, a younger Heihachi Mishima, Jinpachi Mishima, as well as CG Animation for the game that shows a familiar and possibly returning character (Jun Kazama anyone?) that could possibly return in this non-canon tag team series? We'll have to see when the game gets more revelations in the months before its release!

New Soul Calibur Is On The Way!

Hot on the heels of that new Tekken Tag Tournament 2 trailer comes another announcement from the guys over at Bandai Namco that fighting game fans are sure to be talking over! It seems that producer Katsuhiro Harada has just confirmed that a new Soul Calibur game is in the works, which was also confirmed by the new installment's director, Daishi Odashima! There are no details about the game at this point, save for the lone teaser image that accompanied the tweet of Daishi from his official Twitter page! Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Update: New Trailer! New Character! New... Heihachi?!

Yep, you didn't hear that wrong! As teased and finally unveiled via his Twitter and reported via Kotaku, Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada has given fans another glimpse at his next blockbuster 3D fighter by Bandai Namco, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, featuring a younger Heihachi Mishima... with a full brush of hair! He still sports his regular Karate gi, but now the ruthless head of the Mishima Zaibatsu is faster and more vital than ever! This change was only natural, considering the fact that it was teased in the last TTT2 trailer, and the fact that Heihachi's original voice actor/ seiyuu, Daisuke Gori, tragically passed away January early this year. Tokyo Game Show 2010: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unveiled!

Yes sir, Katsuhiro Harada-san, the executvie producer of the Tekken series, promised us a big announcement, and he delivered alright!

Announced at this year's Tokyo Game Show showfloor, The Tekken series is set to be tagging once again, with Bandai Namco's unveiling of Tekken Tag Tournament 2! It's been over 10 years since the last one, and now the sequel has been confirmed! As seen in Kotaku, Check out the trailer and see the action commence!
