Some new updates have appeared for two of Warner Bros. most anticipated superhero films and their newest stage show based on one of the greatest heroes of all time! First up comes another new and slick looking Green Lantern trailer, which is called the"3D Trailer" and is by far the most slick and epic looking among the group! Check it below!

Next up, The Dark Knight Rises viral marketing campaign has begun, and with that comes a couple of teasers for fans to drool over! The official website, www.thedarkknightrises.com, is live and up, but it only has a blank screen that eventually becomes a wav file with a chant playing in the background. However, the most interesting part is it's a Twitter Hashtag that reads "The Fire Rises", and when it's tweeted, it reveals this very image you see below... Tom Hardy as Bane! Check out more info from Slash Film if you want to delve deeper into the mystery!
Finally, we end the post with a trailer for the newest stage show based on the Dark Knight's world that is travelling the globe to entertain legions of fans and newbies alike: The "Batman Live!" show!

Batman Arkham City Update: Two-Face Wants You Poster!
It's no "I Believe In Harvey Dent" poster, but he'll certainly make you pay attention... or else!

Video Game blogsite Kotaku has posted this awesome "We Want You" image of Harvey "Two-Face" Dent doing the Uncle Sam and addressing criminals to join his cause... with a 50/50 chance to survive under him of course. This is just one of the many new promotional images released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios to promote their next Batman game, Batman: Arkham City, which is due on the third quarter of this year. The sequel to 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum places The Dark Knight right back in the chaos of a new madhouse located in the heart of Gotham City, aptly named "Arkham City". Two-Face figures as one of the main antagonists Batman must stop before he publicly executes the Caped Crusader's on-and-off again love interest, Catwoman. For more images, visit the source post over at Kotaku.

See The Playstation Phone Playing PSOne Games!
We've seen leads before, but up to this point in time, there have been no confirmed reports from Sony Computer Entertainment about the existence or release of the Playstation Phone or Playstation Portable 2. However, that has stopped the web from producing rumors or news surrounding leaks on such devices existing... and now one of them has a face and is making waves online. Via Kotaku, a video article was posted showing the PSPhone in action, playing PSOne games like Resident Evil 2 and Rage Racer on the Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play.
Be reminded though, this isn't confirmed as the official product yet, but we can dream that it could be something like this, and it looks pretty neat to boot. For more on the story and details, visit the source post over at Kotaku.

Captain America Update: More pics reveal classic shield and the Red Skull!
Right after dropping the bombshell that is the cover to the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, new pictures from the magazine itself have surfaced online, showing more stuff from next year's "Captain America: The First Avenger"!

Finally, we have two interesting pics bundled together. Above is a pic with a group of scientists, led by Dr. Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci), adjusting the Super Soldier device that will turn Steve Rogers into Captain America! And the last photo shows none other than actor Hugo Weaving as Johann Schmidt... aka The Red Skull! For more pics and details, visit the source article at Slash Film!
Captain America: The First Avenger throws his mighty shield this July 22, 2011!
As seen in movie blog site Slash Film, here are select images featuring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/ Captain America. Looks like this is the first version of the "series of Cap uniforms" Chris will don through the course of the movie, and so far, it's looking good!
Here's a picture of him carrying the original triangular shield the hero uses way before he gets the iconic circular shield! It's great that director Joe Johnston and Marvel Studios incorporated this, showing how faithful they're trying to be with the source material!

Captain America Update: First Photos Of Cap Costume in action!
Superherohype and The Daily Mail have just released photos online showing the full look of the costume Chris Evans will wear in next year's superhero flick - Captain America: The First Avenger. The man wearing the costume in this scene is NOT Mr. Evans however, but a stunt double who is participating in a scene where Cap, riding a motorbike, is being chased by agents of H.Y.D.R.A.
The H.Y.D.R.A agents also look impressive, along with their futuristic bikes. Not bad, but I'm still waiting to see Evans himself in the suit, as well as Hugo Weaving decked out in full Red Skull attire! For more pics, check out Superherohype or The Daily Mail!

Comics and Games Collide!
As seen in a link in Kotaku, The Examiner has posted up four images of comic book heroes and video game characters together, as illustrated by artist David Stonecipher. They're nicely done pieces, and my favorite happens to be the one you see above - Solid Snake and Batman prowling the night and looking to beat trouble senseless. Comic vs Video Game personalities isn't exactly a new trend, and it's making a comeback with the return of the Marvel Vs Capcom series next year, but it's fun to imagine who else can tussle and team up together from those two different worlds. You can check out more mix ups at this link, or just enjoy imagining who wins the Hulk Vs Donkey Kong battle here:

Thor Update: The Gods Of Asgard Appear!
It's been a while since we've seen or heard anything about the upcoming film adaptation of Marvel's Norse God superhero Thor, but here's a juicy that just popped up in several comic book movie and film websites like Slash Film, and it shows not one, but three main characters that are the literally the pillars and cornerstones of this movie! Check it out!
That's right, what you're seeing here is the first official image of Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, and Tom Hiddleston as Thor, Odin, and Loki respectively! The All Father and his two sons are together in this scene that is presumably within the kingdom of Asgard, and Odin must be giving his kids some kind of inspiring lecture! How and what that is, we'll just have to wait when the film makes its debut on May 6 next year, but the article accompanying this pic from Slash Film also talks about Marvel confirming that the Thor movie and The First Avenger: Captain America film are getting the 3D Treatment. It will be done post-prod similar to movies like Clash Of The Titans, but how this will translate to the audience when both films do arrive in theaters remains to be seen. Personally, I don't really need the 3D... I just want some superhero awesomeness!
Again, Thor opens on May 6, 2011, to be followed by The First Avenger: Captain America on July 22, 2011!

Thor Update: Concept Art Of Chris Hemsworth In Costume
Via Slash Film, more concept art has been released, this time showing Chris Hemsworth garbed in the attire of the Norse Thunder God, The Might Thor! In the image below, it shows a couple of poses of Hemsworth all decked out in his costume, ready to smite evil with his trsuty hammer, Mjolnir in tow. Check it out.
Everything looks pretty good. Mr. Hemsworth isn't as buff as his comic book counterpart, but at least he looks imposing enough in the suit, which is patterned after the Modern Thor outfit everyone knows in this day and age. My only complaint is that there's no sign of the helmet yet, and one has to wonder how that will look like. Only time, and more images eventually, will tell for sure.
Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, is due in theaters on May 6, 2011.

OMG... It's THOR!!!
It's May 1 folks! Iron Man 2 is already out in theaters, and it's also officially Free Comic Book Day in retail comic shops everywhere! As of this post, I've seen the Robert Downey Jr. superhero movie sequel three times, and each successive screening has convinced me that Marvel Studios has got it made to create some pretty awesome Marvel movies for us to watch and enjoy! Now that the armored hero's second adventure is live in theaters, what's next for the House Of Ideas and their films? Well, if you caught the last clip shown after the end credits of Iron Man 2, you'll know EXACTLY what's next. It's a guy from the Norse land of Asgard, and he wields a powerful hammer called Mjolnir that shoots thunder and smites his enemies. I'm talking about none other than The Mighty Thor, and he's getting his movie come May 6 next year! Cast in the titular role is actor Chris Hemsworth, who played George Kirk in the 2009 reboot of Star Trek. Production for the film has already begun, and not that many images have been seen on how the Thunder God will look like in the movie. Well, the wait is finally over, as Yahoo! Movies and Superherohype have just unveiled Mr. Hemsworth in full Thor Attire! Take a look and HAVE AT THEE!
Woah... it's actually THOR! It looks like film director Kenneth Branagh is going to be using the "Modern Thor" look for Hemsworth, and that's not such a bad idea! In fact, the look fits so well that I'm already geeking out over all the Marvel madness that's been rubbing all over me today!

Iron Man 2 Update: New ThingsTo Relish!
As always, nothing keeps a good Iron Man fan down... so to further promote the film, Paramount and Marvel Studios have released several new photos and TV Spots to amp up the excitement more than a shellhead devotee can take!

As you can see above, that's one of seven new photos Marvel.com has released for Iron Man 2. This particular image shows Iron Man in his Mark IV suit, preparing to blast a can of repulsor whoop ass on whatever is waiting on the other side. My guess is this is from the "versus Mark II" scene, but then again, we'll have to wait for the film to come out by the end of the month to find out! Check out more photos from Marvel.com here!
As if the last two weren't enough, here's TV Spot #4 and #5 for Iron Man 2! Check 'em and weep!
