Take the social media and the internet, and now it's everywhere from Marvel and Disney - Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson is officially Captain America in both name and title as Steve Rogers handpicked successor gets a new poster for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier following the finale last weekend. News also broke that a fourth Captain America film is officially in the works - and it's more than likely we'll be seeing Sam fly into that as the new Star Spangled Avenger fighting the good fight.

It's official - Sam Wilson has embraced the role of Captain America following the finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier... And now a fourth Cap film is confirmed to be in the works following that as reported by THR!
TFATWS showrunner Malcolm Spellman is returning to pen the script alongside Dalan Musson, and while nothing has been confirmed as to who will be returning and what the story will entail - it will most likely be focusing on Sam's new role as the new Captain America of the MCU and will hopefully also include Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier as well (and perhaps John Walker/ US Agent maybe). We'll just have to wait and see how that plays out!

It's been a while since we've seen new upcoming films from Marvel Studios promoted, but all that changed with the release of the very first poster and trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - the 25th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the second movie in Phase 4 in the MCU that features an Asian led cast and a focus on martial arts, mystic powers, and some long awaited answers to who The Mandarin and The Ten Rings are after they were featured in the Iron Man movies!

Update: Deadline has reported that this will be the final season consisting of 10 episodes, with a new series set in the same universe to take over.
It's been over a year since Netflix and Frederator Studios released the third season of the critically acclaimed Castlevania animated series -- and now the former has released via social media our first glimpse at Season 4 with a new teaser poster that features the cast of characters returning that includes Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, Alucard, Carmilla, Hector, Isaac, and the rest... Including the dead and reunited images of Dracula and his beloved wife Lisa.
Also Alucard FINALLY sports his iconic cape and sword from Symphony of the Night!
No word yet on when the new season will be released, but we can expect news pretty soon for it.
One of Japan's biggest popculture and mecha franchises is getting the long awaited live-action treatment it deserves (not counting the Ready Player One cameo appearance), as Variety reports that Kong: Skull Island and the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie director Jordan Vogt-Roberts has been tasked with directing a Gundam live-action movie for Legendary and Netflix!
According to the report, famed comic book writer Brian K. Vaughan will also be joining the project as executive producer - and writing the screenplay! There's no word yet on what exact iteration of Gundam that will be adapted by the director, Legendary, and Netflix - but the safest and most popular would definitely be the original Universal Century timeline that began with the original Mobile Suit Gundam series released on April of 1979! That story debuted the titular mecha with Amuro Ray as its pilot, and chronicled his journey with the crew of the White Base as they battled Char Aznable and the Republic of Zeon during the events of the "One Year War".
It appears that Marvel's "What If?" series just got another teaser image popping up in the wild, as several posts around social media have featured a poster of the upcoming animated show features a gathering of heroes alongside The Watcher himself Uatu - dubbed as the "Guardians of the Multiverse"
In the poster (which was also reported by Comic Book Movie), we have Peggy Carter/ Captain Britain, Erik Killmonger, Gamora, T'Challa as Star-Lord, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, and Thor... So that makes for quite the multiverse gathering of heroes and probably an idea of the endgame of this show. The first season of this animated series is scheduled to be released in the middle of 2021 and will consist of 10 episodes, and it's part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which already began with WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Solder in Disney +.
ICYMI: Hasbro and Marvel fans just hit the jackpot with plenty of reveals for their Marvel Legends line of figures - as the long rumored Iron Man wave of action figures has been revealed! Featuring a Hologram Iron Man, Ultron, Guardsman, Iron Heart, Stealth Armor Iron Man, Darkstar, and the highly anticipated Modular Armor Iron Man from the 90's, the set will let fans complete an Ursa Major - a member of the Russian superteam known as the Winter Guard!

Next up, Hasbro is also unleashing more Marvel Cinematic Universe figures with their first figure form "The Infinity Saga" line of Marvel Legends action figures - and it's none other than Bro Thor all armored up as seen in the final battle against Thanos in "Avengers: Endgame"!
And finally, Hasbro and Marvel are continuing their life-sized props for collectors with the next one coming later this year - the Eye of Agamotto with the Time Stone as used by the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange!
Revealed during this weekend's Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest event at the G.I.Joe panel, Hasbro has announced the new line of G.I.Joe action figures based on the upcoming "G.I.Joe Origins: Snake Eyes" film - which now has a new release date of July 23, 2021. Originally scheduled for a March 27, 2020 release date, the global pandemic forced the film to be delayed to October later this year. Thankfully Paramount Pictures and Hasbro have moved up the release date to this summer - complimenting the new set of toys and merchandise that will be hitting stores pretty soon.

After releasing the trailer to the first part of the long awaited DC Universe Movie adaptation, Warner Bros. and DC (via Superherohype) have revealed the official Blu-Ray box art and release date for "Batman: The Long Halloween Part One" - which is adapted from the 90's comic book storyline of the same name by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale.
Starring Supernatural actor Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, the film explores Batman forming an alliance with Jim Gordon and Harvey Dent, while dealing with a new mysterious killer called Holiday and the rise of the supervillains in Gotham City. The Blu-Ray and Digital release will be out on June 22.
Prepare to be updated on all things Resident Evil, RE Village, and more, as the second Resident Evil Showcase digital event has been set for April 15 - promising new information on the upcoming Resident Evil Village, RE:Verse multiplayer game, and more on the RE Series as the 25th anniversary celebration of the franchise continues. One of the most critically acclaimed Batman stories in the 90's and acting as a continuation of Batman: Year One is getting the DC Universe Movie treatment, and Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have finally revealed the voice cast for the upcoming animated film adaptation of "Batman: The Long Halloween" - specifically the talents for Part 1 of this two part saga.
Leading the cast will be Supernatural's Jensen Ackles - who previously voiced Jason Todd/ Red Hood in "Batman: Under The Red Hood". He'll now be taking on Bruce Wayne/ Batman himself, while Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent/ Two-Face.. Naya Rivera of Glee is Selina Kyle/ Catwoman, while Billy Burke and Titus Welliver will voice Commissioner Gordon and Carmine Falcone respectively.
