Resident Evil Village finally has a release date, and the game is set to hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC, AND the current generation consoles in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this coming May. However, Capcom also confirmed that several editions of the game will be out for fans to pre-order and get - including a Collector's Edition. featuring a map poster of the game's setting, a Trauma Pack that's also featured in the Deluxe Edition, a steelbook case, an art book, and finally a statue of longtime series protagonist Chris Redfield! All of these are contained inside a chest box - which is similar to the collector's editions of RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake.

You can read up more on the upcoming Collector's Edition via GamingBolt. Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7, 2021.

Happy Halloween! Looks like the upcoming Resident Evil Reboot is looking straight from the source!

It's All Hallows Eve, and a lot of us are celebrating Trick or Treat and all things horror and spooky indoors this year thanks to the ongoing global pandemic restricting activities and gatherings. That however hasn't stopped work and production for some upcoming film projects (albeit with safety measures enforced of course), and one of these is the upcoming Resident Evil Reboot film, with Johannes Roberts set to direct and the likes of Robbie Amell and Hannah John-Kamen to star as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, respectively!

Thanks to Biohazard Declassified in Facebook, we get a look at some set photos that have made their way to the interwebz that suggest that the filmmakers who are starting over with the RE film franchise are going to be faithful this time around with the source material - including building the Raccoon Police Department gate just like it was featured in the games! Plus, Kendo Gun Shop is also looking like it's straight from Resident Evil 2!

The Resident Evil Reboot is currently filming and will be released (hopefully) sometime in 2021.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2: Claire Redfield returns, along with Barry Burton's daughter, Moira

The cat has been let out of the bag, and what was rumored and speculated for a long time that a familiar protagonist would return has finally been confirmed - Claire Redfield, the sister of Chris Redfield and Leon S Kennedy's partner and fellow survivor from the Raccoon City incident, will be the main protagonist for the recently announced Resident Evil: Revelations 2!

Also, Ms. Redfield won't be alone, as she'll be joined by Moira Burton... The daughter of legendary S.T.A.R.S member and Chris and Jill Valentine's friend, Barry Burton! The news comes from an article in Push-Start.co.uk, where the November issue of Games Master has published details about the upcoming game, including the fact that the game is set inbetween RE5 and RE6, and in an island where Claire and Moira will have to face new enemies like the "Afflicted" - who are similar to zombies but very different as well. The survival horror aspect also returns, and the game will be set on an island facility similar to RE: Code: Veronica. For more information, visit the source post at Push-Start.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 comes out on Early 2015 for current and next-gen consoles, as well as PC.

Milla Jovovich Launches Out In Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D!

A "new dimension of evil" is coming, and as a fan of Resident Evil/ Bio Hazard, it's still a totally different world from the games I know and played back in the day.

Via Enewsi, here is the new poster of Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D, the latest sequel in director Paul W.S. Anderson's series of films based on the popular video game franchise of the same name by Capcom, but has spun its own alternative take on the saga itself. Mr. Anderson's wife, actress Milla Jovovich, reprises her role as the lead heroine Alice, as she embarks on a new adventure to stop Zombies, save survivors, and end the destruction unleashed by the Umbrella Corporation once and for all. Those fond of the videogames should know that Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) returns from the last movie, Extinction, as well as Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) from the second movie, Apocalypse! Also, Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) will finally have a showdown with the heroes, and what's more, Claire's brother, Chris Redfield (Prison Break's Wentworth Miller), will finally join the cast and battle it out alongside Alice and crew! For more details, the synopsis and rest of the info can be found via Enewsi and IGN, so jump over and take a look.

Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D debuts on September 10, 2010 this year!

Prepare for Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds!

In case you haven't heard about it yet, I will say it again. MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3 IS CONFIRMED, and it's coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime on 2011! The trailer broke out earlier, much to the glee and anticipation of the millions... AND MILLIONS of MvC fans who have waited for a decade to get a taste of another that features Hyper Combos and Aerial Raves! As a longtime fan of fighting games and all things Capcom in general, this is the announcement to make everyone go insane, and I'm getting ready for the next, intense battle of heroes and villains striving for dominance and supremacy!

Breaking out the news officially today following a week of silence in respect to Captivate 2010's embargo, Kotaku mentions in grand detail what players can expect from this grand sequel, once again combining the forces of Marvel with the superb fighters from Capcom's gaming roster. Officially called "Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds", the only details that have surfaced so far is that the game will boast over 30 characters from both sides of the fighting coin, with 6 characters already revealed in the launch trailer - namely Wolverine, Hulk, and Iron Man (in his Extremis type armor) from Marvel, and Ryu, Morrigan, and Chris Redfield representing Capcom. In total counting the unrevealed shades in the trailer, that's 16 characters "confirmed" to appear in MvC 3, and people have begun speculating as to who these fighters are, Kotaku included. So far they've listed people like Captain America, Super-Skrull, and even Devil May Cry's protagonist Dante as candidates to appear in this versus game, so anything is pretty much up in the air. As for how the game will play, It'll still be classic 3 on 3 tag team fighting, but with 3D sprites sparring on a 2D plane. The graphics will be totally new, utilizing an advanced version of the MT Framework game engine used in Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2. At first, I thought Capcom would be using a retooled Tatsunoko vs Capcom or Street Fighter IV engine as their basis for the game's creation, but looks like that won't be the case.

By golly, this is truly exciting news for the average fighting game fan, and like everyone else, I'm pumped up to see actual gameplay soon. You can check more about the big MvC 3 announcement via Kotaku here! For the mean time, enjoy the announcement trailer below, and dream for more Marvel Vs Capcom madness soon!
