It looks like there'll be no rest for the books involved in the Green Lantern universe, as not only do October solicitations for DC Comics reveal a new event is coming, but it will also involve the powerful New Gods and their almighty leader Highfather, who plan to tap into the emotional spectrum one way or another to take out Darkseid.
As revealed in The Nerdist and Comic Book.com, the new crossover series entitled "Godhead", a month long series that sees the entire Lantern Universe and the New Gods battling it out as Highfather seeks to get his hands on the seven rings of emotion to tap into the mysteries of the Source Wall and somehow use it to defeat his evil "brother" and lord of Apokolips himself, Darkseid. How this will affect the entire DC Universe in The New 52 is anyone's guess, but consequential is a start for sure!
Godhead begins with New Gods: Godhead #1 and spans the rest of the GL related titles this October. For more info on the solicits, see the source post at Comic Book.com.

DC The New 52: Batgirl gets a new costume and creative team this October
October is looking to spark many changes in the world of DC Comics, and after news that Selina Kyle will sport a new look and creative team beginning with Catwoman #35, the one and only Barbara Gordon looks to follow suit as a new team steps in to introduce a "Version 2.0" for the female member of the Bat Family starting in that month's Batgirl #35.
In a report by MTV News and reported by Bleeding Cool as well, current and longtime Batgirl and Birds of Prey writer Gail Simone is apparently stepping down from her role as the main writer. After the brief time she was removed and then reinstated thanks to the voices of fans worldwide, it seems that DC is ready to take new people to tackle the former Oracle - with Cameron Stewart and Blender Fletcher handling writing duties while Babs Tarr handles art duties.
And with the creative change comes a shift in focus for Barbara and a new direction - She moves to the Buroughs for graduate school, and she seemingly is going to get a new costume as well - which looks more hipster and less spandex oriented. These alterations come with what happens in the story, and whether these changes bode well or not, it's a new start for Babs more or less in the New 52 Universe of DC Comics, as well as coming during the 75th Anniversary of her mentor and inspiration, The Batman. For more info, visit the source post at Bleeding Cool!

Looks like the mysterious trio that sparked the events of "Trinity War" and by extension the existence of The New 52 universe of DC Comics is going to get a new ongoing series this fall, and it's helmed by writer J.M. DeMatteis and artist Yvel Guichet.
Starting this October, "Trinity of Sin" will be the newest title to hit for DC, featuring the appearances of The Phantom Stranger, The Question, and the mysterious Pandora - the three that make up the titular threesome that have been punished for their sins in the past. According to the source post in Newsarama, the new ongoing will not only explore the three, their origins, and adventures, but will open the floodgates for an upcoming "Dark Age" that will undoubtedly tie in to their faults... And may bring about some dangers to come in the New 52 Universe.
