Spider-Man: No Way Home Digital and Home Media Release Date Revealed

At long last, we finally have a digital and home media release date for one of the best Marvel Cinematic Universe films to date if not one of the greatest Spider-Man films ever made!

Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and Marvel Studios have revealed via social media that "Spider-Man: No Way Home" will be released on digital on March 22, followed by a physical media release for 4K UHD and Blu-Ray on April 12. The third and final film in the Homecoming Trilogy directed by Jon Watts stars Tom Holland once again as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man - who ends up dealing with villains from past Spider-Man films as the multiverse unintentionally opens up thanks to a spell by Doctor Strange that was botched by the young wallcrawler.

Of course if you watched the film by now you know the OTHER TWO SPIDER-MEN appear to assist Holland as well - Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their roles from their respective Spider-Man films, and this behind the scenes photo with the three recreating "The Meme" was released to help announce the digital and home release dates of the film!

Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield have a sit down video conversation

It's been over a month since "Spider-Man: No Way Home" hit cinemas and changed the game for the wallcrawler and his world - the multiverse is real in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that adventure alongside Doctor Strange brought out not just classic villains from past Spider-Man movies, but the first two live-action wallcrawlers from those universes as well!

Sitting down with host Pete Hammond on a zoom chat, Spider-Man actors Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield finally talked about their epic adventure together in the third and final installment of the "Homecoming Trilogy" directed by Jon Watts, as well as their own respective feelings and experiences of playing the wallcrawler in cinemas! Give the unlisted video a watch below!

Throwback Thursday: Screen Junkies releases "The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Honest Trailer"

More than three years after the film hit theaters and didn't really meet expectations for fans and critics alike, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 pretty much signaled the end of the Andrew Garfield era of Spider-Man Movies - but it is still appreciated by some for delivering one of the most iconic versions of the Spidey costume in live-action. The overstuffed plot and villains however didn't give the film much breathing room, and is one of the contributing factors to Sony Pictures starting from scratch and making a deal with Marvel Studios to bring the webhead to Marvel Cinematic Universe - which finally happened in last year's Captain America: Civil War and continues with this month's "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

Honest Trailers - The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Now Screen Junkies is revisiting the "sins past" as it were, with a new "Honest Trailer" video on Marc Webb's ASM 2. Seeing it is just believing and laughing at some pretty bad and awful moments of what is a "premature reboot" of the Spidey franchise in film.

Jimmy Kimmel Live: Andrew Garfield returns as Spider-Man (Sort Of) in an upcoming segment!

In a move that pretty much covers "Throwback Thursday" and will entertain fans who miss the actor playing a certain webslinging hero, Andrew Garfield will be appearing in this week's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to return as Spider-Man (sort of) in a bit that was teased by Kimmel in Twitter:
While Tom Holland is now THE Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be appearing next in his own solo film with "Spider-Man Homecoming" next year, Andrew Garfield has moved on to bigger and brighter things in Hollywood, which includes the Mel Gibson film "Hacksaw Ridge".

Either way, can't wait to see the former Spidey in this segment!

Happy Birthday Andrew Garfield, aka the former "The Amazing Spider-Man"!

The world already has a new Spider-Man for cinema with Tom Holland, who made his debut with this year's "Captain America: Civil War", but before the young man stepped to the plate and prior to Sony Pictures making a deal with Marvel to put the webhead in the MCU, there was Andrew Garfield... Who played Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in two films by Marc Webb in 2012 and 2014 respectively, and today is his birthday!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The First 10 Minutes

It's literally a shame that he could not wrap up his tenure as the wallcrawler properly after "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", but Garfield - who also starred in "The Social Network" has since moved on past his heroic identity to play other roles in film - including the upcoming Mel Gibson film "Hacksaw Ridge". He may not be Spidey anymore, but his time was fun nonetheless along with Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy! Happy Birthday, Andrew Garfield!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Thoughts on the 30-Minute Preview, Comic Book & IMAX Poster, & Final International Trailer online

Not pulling the stops in the promotional campaign before its release, Sony Pictures and Marvel have released a couple of new posters and a FINAL international trailer to Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man film sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2! It's literally just a few weeks left until the release of the film, and after seeing the 30-Minute Preview c/o Columbia Picture Philippines, I cannot stress how exciting and intense this sequel is going to be!

The "30 Minute Preview" was a three act sequence that began with a prologue showing what truly happened to Peter Parker's parents, Richard and Mary Parker, just after leaving their boy with Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Act Two then focuses on Spidey saving the day and fighting the man who would be Rhino, while barely trying to catch up with his own graduation! Then Peter tries to rekindle time with his love interest Gwen Stacy, only to have Electro make an entrance at Times Square. Finally, the preview ends with Harry Osborn teaming up with the electric powered villain himself, and Spidey in for a world of hurt with teases on what's to come for the sequel! These all illustrate what kind of sequel we're dealing with here, and it also proves 3D may be the best way to view and experience this superhero movie altogether! There's plenty of action, wise-cracking, and the kinds of dynamic and story that make this possibly THE Spider-Man movie we have been waiting for!

Right above and as seen in Superherohype is a stellar "comic book poster" that pays homage to the actual cover seen in "The Amazing Spider-Man #121", which in itself is a SPOILER for those who don't know their Spidey history well!

And here's a pretty daring IMAX poster by artist Matt Taylor, as seen in Comic Book.com

And finally, here's what may be the FINAL international trailer promoting the film!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Three new international "Spider-Man and/ VS Electro" posters debut online

Things are clearly going to go head-to-head when Peter Parker returns both in the big screen and to the Marvel Universe in comics proper, as big promotions and expectations are in full swing for The Amazing Spider-Man this year! That being said, Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and Marvel have released THREE brand new international posters for Marc Webb's Spidey film sequel "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", featuring Andrew Garfield back as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in his traditional inspired new costume and Jamie Foxx all charged up as the villainous Electro... And these two hotshots will go face-to-face come May this year!

Above of course is the "Face Off" poster between Spidey and Electro. There's something electrifying in the air alright.

Then we have Jamie Foxx as Electro, and boy does he look angry. Then the tagline "Enemies Will Unite" foreshadows the team-up between him and possibly the other villains featured in the sequel, which would be Rhino, Green Goblin, and/ or other mystery villains Oscorp may unleash? We'll find out soon enough when the movie comes out.

And of course how can we forget our friendly neighborhood webslinger himself? Charging into action and avoiding Electro's lightning bolts in an epic new poster!

The Amazing Spider-Man: Mary Jane won't appear in ASM2; Two more sequels dated for 2016 and 2018

Looks like fans of looking forward to Mary Jane Watson's debut in Marc Webb's Spider-Man film reboot universe will have to wait a little longer, as the character has been confirmed to not appear in next year's upcoming sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

In a report by Superherohype coming from an interview conducted by Entertainment Weekly with MJ actress Shailene Woodley, the filmmakers have decided to cut scenes involving Peter Parker's other love interest from the 2014 film, instead reserving her appearance for the third and fourth Spidey films, which were already given the go ahead and confirmed for a 2016 and 2018 respectively.
