The Amazing Spider-Man 2: New Banner Poster on Twitter; Reveals Electro and two new villains

Swinging to theaters in 2014 and with the very first trailer coming out next week, Marc Webb's Spidey film sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is building up momentum and giving fans a lot to talk about. Andrew Garfield reprises his role as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man, and continues his mission to defend New York City with his powers while juggling a romance with Gwen Stacy, played by the lovely Emma Stone.

Now, it appears that talk will generate anew, as what seemingly is a new banner poster for the movie has appeared in Twitter, and it shows off not only Jamie Foxx's Electro, but two other villains as well.

Potential SPOILERS follow after the jump, so view accordingly.

We know Electro's facing Spidey... But so is Rhino AND The Green Goblin? This banner poster from Twitter user Marvel_Spider suggests it may be happening for real.

Now, everyone knows about Paul Giamatti will be playing the villain Rhino, yet set photos have only shown the actor in prison attire making an escape from authorities. Now, it appears the villain will indeed be suiting up, as seen in this new poster from Marvel_Spider that shows the powerhouse in a mechanical suit (a nod to the Ultimate version of the character).

However, the BIG Surprise is seeing none other than the return of Spider-Man's deadly archnemesis The Green Goblin, who's also known to be Norman Osborn, head of OsCorp Industries. However, the Goblin Legacy extends beyond Norman, and Harry Osborn did take up the mantle eventually. Could it be actor Dane DeHaan, who plays Harry, in the suit instead? Only time will tell. The Amazing Spider-Man arrives in theaters next year on May 2, 2014
