DC Comics announces new "Justice League" relaunch series for June w/ Scott Snyder, Jim Cheung, and Jorge Jimenez

The line-up - teasing the long awaited return of Martian Manhunter to the legue as well as the addition of Green Lantern John Stewart and Hawkgirl ala the classic Justice League and Justice League Unlimited DC Animated Series, a great mystery will bring these heroes together and shape the DC Universe anew moving forward.

DC Comics: Justice League #24 sees the Crime Syndicate explode ala "Forever Evil"

Just as the cover shows, "Evil Is Relative"... And Rising in the New 52 as "Forever Evil" ushers in the reign of the Justice League's Earth-3 counterparts - The Crime Syndicate.

Drawn by artists Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, the cover to October's upcoming issue of Justice League #24 shows the polar opposites of the heroes - Ultraman, Superwoman, Owlman, Johnny Quick, Power Ring, Atomica, Deathstorm, and The Grid taking center stage... In a cover the mirrors what Jim Lee draw two years ago, for DC Comics' New 52 debut issue of Justice League #1.

Now that Villains Month and Forever Evil are in full swing, can the heroes turn the tide and restore order to the new DC Universe? Only time will tell. For more information on the cover, visit the source post at DC Comics.com.

Justice League #24 goes on sale on October 16th.

Cover to Justice League #4 revealed - Aquaman is a badass

While presenting the numbers and news that Justice League #1 is the best selling comic of the month and, currently, 2011, DC Comics' official blog The Source also presented that post with the cover to issue #4 by Jim Lee, depicting a very serious looking Aquaman as he stands behind the waves, victorious and on top of the battered and beaten bodies of Batman and Green Lantern! It looks like The Dark Knight and Emerald Warrior are going to have their hands full meeting and fighting their eventual teammates, and Aquaman doesn't look like he's screwing around either! For more info on this and the good news for the New 52, check out the source post at DC The Source!
