After months of waiting, Marvel Studios has released a brand new trailer and poster for "Secret Invasion" - the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe TV Series that will air on Disney + and feature the return of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. The series also brings back Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, and introduces Emilia Clarke as G'iah.

In what looks like a timely tease following the release of the brand new trailer for the last Marvel Studios film of Phase 3 and 2019, Sony and Marvel have released via The Ellen Show the very first clip to "Spider-Man: Far From Home" - the new Spider-Man film sequel that sees Tom Holland back as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man. Fresh from the fallout from "Avengers: Endgame" and the impact the ending has had personally on our friendly neighborhood wallcrawler, Peter is recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to undertake a new mission while in Europe - and meets a new mysterious ally from another reality named Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio (played by Jake Gyllenhaal).

Of course, it'll be a younger version of the character as the film is set in the 1990's - giving us a unique look at the future director of S.H.I.E.L.D as he encounters his first superhuman case with an alien background!

After releasing a couple of fresh and slick looking character posters to build up excitement for the movie's release, Marvel Studios and Disney up the ante more by releasing a brand new theatrical poster for their next Marvel Cinematic Universe move for "Phase 2", Captain America: The Winter Solider.

After seeing Cap/ Chris Evans, Nick Fury/ Samuel L. Jackson, and Black Widow/ Scarlett Johansson get their own solo posters, it's time for the whole cast to converge into one epic looking piece, and joining the fun are Robert Redford's character of senior S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Alexander Pierce, and Sebastian Stan returning as Steve Rogers' missing friend Bucky Barnes, now converted into the mysterious assassin known as The Winter Soldier.

In what certainly will be the first of many more to come, Marvel Studios and Disney have released a slew of brand new character poster promoting their next upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film for "Phase 2" - Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The film, a direct sequel that follows two years after the events of The Avengers, sees Cap adjusting to modern life and working for S.H.I.E.L.D and Nick Fury. He's paired up with fellow Avenger Black Widow and The Falcon, and together they embark on a quest to solve a conspiracy that could endanger the world... As well as the emergence of the mysterious assassin known as The Winter Soldier.

Marvel's Joss Whedon TV Series will be "S.H.I.E.L.D"

When director Joss Whedon signed an exclusive deal with Marvel Studios until 2015, he was attached to direct "The Avengers" sequel and develop a then untitled TV Series for Marvel Television on ABC. Now Deadline has confirmed that Whedon's project will come to life with a greenlight from the network, and it will be aptly titled as "S.H.I.E.L.D"!

With that said, Cinema Blend has posted up an article which features a clip from The Late Show with David Letterman, where Cobie Smulders was featured as guest! Those who have been following the news on The Avengers knows that Ms. Smulders plays Agent Maria Hill, and this clip gives us a good look at her character, featuring a discussion between her and her boss Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. In this low-res one sheet, the entire team stands and walks together side by side, ready to face the foes no one hero could face! Tony Stark/ Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) leads the charge, with fellow heroes Steve Rogers/ Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Natasha Romanoff/ Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), Clint Barton/ Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Bruce Banner/ Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Over at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, the stars and people behind Disney and Marvel Studios' upcoming epic 2012 superhero team movie "The Avengers" assembled at the Walt Disney D23 2011 Expo to talk about the movie and present some awesome footage for lucky attendees over there to see. Highlighting the cast present there of course was Robert Downey Jr., aka Tony Stark and the Invincible Iron Man, as well as Jeremy Renner/ Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson/ Black Widow, Cobie Smulders/ Maria Hill, Tom Hiddleston/ Loki, and Chris Hemsworth, the mighty Thor himself! Lead by Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige and joined by Walt Disney Chairman Rich Ross, the team screened a special reel of what is approximated to be about 4 minutes worth of exclusive footage from the Joss Whedon directed Avengers, comprised of scenes that highlight the Hulk, Nick Fury, Loki, and the rest of the Avengers team! Captain America Update: New scene filmed last Saturday!

Reported in ComingSoon and SuperHeroHype, a new scene was filmed this past Saturday for Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios' second upcoming superhero flick "Captain America: The Firs Avenger". The scene, filmed in New York City's famous Times Square, has Chris Evans' Steve Rogers interacting with Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury. It doesn't take a fan to realize the significance of this particular scene, but those who don't get it should know this is practically a SPOILER, and it leads up to the upcoming Avengers film next year (as well as another Cap movie). Captain America: The First Avenger arrives in theaters this July 22, 2011.

Samuel L. Jackson confirms Nick Fury will appear in Thor and Captain America!

Regardless of the fact that he stated once before that he would not be appearing on either Thor or Captain America: The First Avenger, it appears that things have turned around, and Samuel L. Jackson has now confirmed that he will indeed be making a cameo appearance as Nicholas Joseph Fury in those films, in addition to his confirmed appearance The Avengers movie! According to a post on Slash Film, Sammy J will be filming one-day shoots for both films for the cameo appearance, which have a good chance of being post-credit scenes involving the director of S.H.I.E.L.D and something that ties the respective hero's movie to the big superhero film of 2012! There's also rumors going about that Sam's got a female companion set to join him in The Avengers. Could this be his second in command in S.H.I.E.L.D, Maria Hill perhaps, or Janet Van Dyne, aka The Wasp? Only time can tell for sure once more updates pop up.
