The Dark Knight Trilogy: The Ultimate Collector's Edition Set is official
After rumors, reports, and then unconfirmed information popped up online of a new collector's edition of Christopher Nolan's epic Dark Knight Trilogy was on the way, Warner Bros. has officially announced that the set known as "The Dark Knight Trilogy: The Ultimate Collector's Edition" is indeed real, and will be arriving in stores this September with a whole lot of goodies that Batman fans new and old may want to get!
Priced at $99.97 and aimed for a September release, The Ultimate Collector's Edition of "The Dark Knight Trilogy" contains all the movies and features that ran with the previous releases of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises, plus a new disc containing new Bonus disc with New special features, including "The Fire Rises: The Creation and Impact of The Dark Knight Trilogy" and "Christopher Nolan and Richard Donner: A Conversation". The set also includes memorabilia Mattel Hot Wheels Batmobile/ Tumbler, Batpod, and The Bat, as well as Mondo commissioned art cards and a 48-page hardcover production and art book.

On a related side note, Christian Bale also confirmed with an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he's NOT coming back as Batman on a potential Justice League film. Still, his epic run on all three Dark Knight films collaborating with Nolan was self-contained and enough, and he gives his blessing to pass the mantle of The Bat to someone else in a shared DC Movie Universe. For more on that story, read about it on the source post at EW and here.
The Dark Knight Trilogy: The Ultimate Collector's Edition sees release on September 24, 2013.

In addition to announcing that a multi-day marathon of the first three seasons will air starting July 4th in the network, a new banner for the upcoming fourth season is finally online, teasing things to come and showing the four central characters of the show - namely Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Tyreese fighting hordes of the undead.
Additionally, Superherohype via a post by TVLine reports that the premiere episode for the season will be entitled "30 Days Without Incident", which will be helmed by the new showrunner of TWD, Scott M. Gimple. It's anyone's guess as to what will transpire during the gap between the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4, but it's a safe bet Rick and his group won't be getting any rest whatsoever from the undead masses. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Deluxe Edition coming to Blu-Ray this October
It goes without saying that the two-part DC Universe Animated Original Movie that is "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" was a great adaptation, if not one of the best Batman animated movies to hit home video and digital media. Split into Part 1 and Part 2, both movies were mostly faithful to the original 1986 limited series turned graphic novel by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson, and the story helped redefine Batman for the modern age and brought the Caped Crusader back to his dark roots. I personally loved both films and added them to my collection... But this new announcement by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment kinda makes me interested to revisit it, and entices newbies to look into the epic saga of an aged Batman coming out of retirement.

Escape Plan: Stallone and Schwarzenegger team up to escape a tough prison
Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Rambo and Commando.
Rocky and The Terminator.
They're two of the biggest names in Action Hero film history, and back in the day, made a lot of people want to see the films they starred in just by their names alone. They've appeared together for the first time thanks to Stallone's testosterone action hero love letter team up film that was The Expendables and it's sequel, The Expendables 2. However, Schwarzenegger's role there was more of a cameo than a co-star, so it technically doesn't count.
All that changes this year however, as Sly and Ahnold have to work side-by-side to escape the toughest prison ever built, in a new action thriller that'll test their skills and limits - Escape Plan.
Via IGN, here's the very first trailer to the film.
Catch Stallone and Schwarzenegger working together on an Escape Plan, which opens in theaters on October 18.
