DC FanDome: Check out the trailer to WB Games Montreal's "Gotham Knights"

With DC FanDome in full swing as of this writing and a lot of fans looking to the news and announcements the DC Universe has to give, Warner Bros. Games Montreal pulled the curtain away from their mysterious new DC game - and it is indeed a new Batman related game... One that does not put players in control of The Dark Knight, but his extended Bat-Family instead in Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin... The Gotham Knights.

Batman Arkham Origins: All new Story DLC confirmed for 2014!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

First off, it's OFFICIALLY 2014, so it's a brand new year with new hopes and dreams to pursue!

With that in mind, looks like fans of Batman and WB Games and DC Entertainment's epic Batman Arkham franchise are getting a treat sometime this year, as a NEW DLC story add-on is slated for release for the current Arkham prequel game, Batman: Arkham Origins!

More or less living up to their promise of giving an official announcement come New Year's Eve and New Year's Day itself, the official Batman Arkham Facebook page has teased that a "Humanitarian of the Year Awards" ceremony being held in Wayne Manor... And it looks like a certain "Cool Villain" will be crashing the party! If the ice doesn't tip you off, then you'd be wise to suspect that scientist Victor Fries will be crashing the party as his evil alter ego, Mr. Freeze! How will this fit into the scope of the Arkham Origins timeline? We'll find out soon enough as more announcements come as the year goes by!

Still, the chances of a brand new Arkham game being announced MAY happen somewhere down the line as well, and hopefully it'll bring Batman: The Animated Series voice actor Kevin Conroy back? We can only hope and pray that happens!

Batman: Arkham Origins is currently available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC!

Batman: Arkham: Mysterious "Teaser" Announcement to come at New Year's Eve

Before anything else - MERRY CHRISTMAS, ONE AND ALL!

It's the most wonderful time of the year alright... And apparently, WB Games and DC Entertainment are presenting a "gift" of sorts to celebrate the occasion for fans of the Batman: Arkham franchise... As a "Special Announcement" has been teased and dated for December 31, 2013!

What this means could be anyone's guess... But by the time New Year's Eve arrives, are we looking at the prospect of a BRAND NEW Batman Arkham game for current and/ or Next-generation video game platforms, or just a DLC add-on for the current and recently released prequel installment of the series, Batman: Arkham Origins?

Only time can tell for sure, and the official Batman Arkham Facebook page has promised that more details will come next week prior to December 31st!

I do hope it's a new game... And while Batman: Arkham Origins did ok, I'd like to see Kevin Conroy actually return as The Bat soon! There's your Merry Christmas with The Joker moment right there!

Batman: Arkham Origins: "Initiation" DLC teased at DC All Access

Over a month since its release in video game consoles and platforms, WB Games epic looking prequel entry to the Batman Arkham franchise, Batman: Arkham Origins, has served up an interesting look at what transpired in a younger Dark Knight's career prior to the events of the two classic Rocksteady Stuidos games, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Developed by WB Games Montreal, Origins looks at the more inexperienced Batman facing overwhelming numbers of criminals and assassins on Christmas Eve, with the villain Black Mask putting a hefty bounty on the Caped Crusader's head for good measure.

Now that the game is out, people are looking towards what's to come next, and sure enough, and whole slew of DLC is coming to add some extra content and depth. While many out right now are additional challenge maps, costumes, and items (not to mention the Deathstroke pack), a new DLC exclusive sub-adventure was promised some time ago, and now is being teased at this week's DLC All Access. Entitled "Initiation", "the prequel to the prequel" story sees Bruce Wayne who has yet to don the Cape and Cowl, and is undergoing training in a monastery deep within the Himalayas, fighting ninjas and learning vital tricks that'll be important to his mission... which is a nod to the comics itself and the first film of The Dark Knight TrilogyBatman Begins.

Kevin Conroy to appear in "New Arkham Game", not Batman: Arkham Origins

Looks like confusion came through earlier for the big news that was "Batman: Arkham Origins", and now we have confirmation from "The Voice of Batman" himself, Kevin Conroy, that puts matters to rest.

After it was announced that Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker would be playing the roles of Batman and The Joker respectively in Arkham Origins, fans were wondering what role Conroy would be playing in the prequel. Turns out that he was referring to ANOTHER ARKHAM GAME during his presscon at this year's Dallas Comic Con, and it's something that hasn't been officially announced yet. He announced it in his official Twitter page, but that post has since been deleted.

For more insight on the matter, visit the source post at Batman-News. If you haven't seen the trailer or read the new details on Arkham Origins, click on the links to do so.

Batman: Arkham Origins will be released on October 25.

Batman: Arkham Origins: New screenshots, info, and The Joker returns (or appears for the first time)!

Following up on the impressive 5 minute long debut trailer, WB Games and WB Games Montreal have released a couple of new screenshots for their upcoming new prequel in the Batman Arkham video game series - Batman: Arkham Origins! Highlighting these of course is the very first look at The Joker, as he appears in the game!

Of course, the last time people saw The Clown Prince of Crime was at the 2011 video game smash hit Batman: Arkham City, where the character apparently met his demise after a final titanic battle with the Caped Crusader. His appearance in Arkham Origins isn't surprising given it's a prequel, but he'll be voiced by a different man - namely Troy Baker, since the "Voice of Joker" from Batman: The Animated Series and the previous two Arkham Games, legendary Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, has stated that he isn't returning for the role. It's also been confirmed that Kevin Conroy won't be voicing Batman... Rather it'll be Roger Craig Smith of Sonic The Hedgehog and Assassin's Creed Ezio Auditore fame. Instead, Conroy will be back for a mysterious role... Which we'll find out sooner what it is or later.

In the meantime, check out more worth screenshots via Batman-News, and that AWESOME trailer if you haven't yet!

Batman: Arkham Origins is slated for release in the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U on October 25th!
